The thing that makes most people question the holocaust is genuine investigation. The thing that makes most people embrace Fascism and National Socialism is the study of Fascist Literature and the examination of what they actually did. The thing that makes people reject communism, capitalism and democracy is the examination of the ideologies versus how they actually work. What makes people white supremecists is the simple examination of and contrast of the races and their characteristics, when they are available. Even when we create AI's with simple learning algorithms they end up becoming "racist," "sexists," and "fascists."
So what eactly does this tell you? What does the fact one of the only places on the internet with true free speech produces literal fascists while any free speech platform drastically censors things constantly tell you?

it is easy to criticize things but hard to build a cohesive vision. Modern fascism doesn't provide a real vision because like communism and even liberal democracy they are ideologies of a bygone era. Historical brands of fascism don't seem to mesh well with the information age or our service-based economy. I think many of the underlying premises fascism bring to the table can be salvaged, but perhaps we need to reconsider what fascism would look like in our century. Almost everyone knows our political system and culture is broken, but nobody provides real answers. I'd like to see a real exploration of what needs to change in particular and what the change would look like. I know I'm barely addressing your point, but this is just what it brought to mind

I think people limit themselves by considering fascism to be necessarily similar to German or Italian fascism. Remember where most fascist symbols came from - Rome. Hell, the fasces were a symbol of power originating from the Republican days of Rome. I think Republicanism and fascism go well together.
