I think Peter Zeihan is right, Russia will spring forward and create a wall blocking European invasion, there will be a fight over that and the winner of that conflict will set the price for Russian oil. After that, everyones economies will be devastated by terrible demographics and the few young people they had dying in droves in the wars. World wide energy shortfall and famine will set in and it will all go down hill from there.

Most of the NATO countries have not been paying their agreed amounts (portion of their GDP). Those countries know they have been slacking their payments and taking advantage of US payments. Germany has been making backroom deals with Russia to buy their oil.
