They got no territory for their good work, except the Tyrol, which is good because they lost 10 times more people there than there was civilians living there pre-war.
4 generations later, they lost 25 years of naval military build up in barely 2 years, seeing the Italian fleet sunk by the Allies without accomplishing much while all they had to do was to check on Suez and Gibraltar. They then got conquered by British and American, with arab and niger colonial troops used as military police to the delight of local girls.
The 5th generation loved socialism so much they nearly went over to the soviets, only failing because America was looking and because while the ritals loved the idea of the State handing them free shit, they couldn't accept the idea of not owning their ill-gotten gains.
