Sparky, World War 3 is already happening through hybrid proxy wars An uneding conflict with frontlines across the entire world With tanks and artiellery being supported by the new Mass Media machines, creating not only a war of bullets and bombs but a war of information aswell (in the cold war it was ideologies but now it's even larger) Even history itself is being changed in places like Albania, Ukraine and Macedoania, all frontlines in the invisible Third World War The Great Empire could crush any foe, but they cannot do it this time, because the foe is like a phantom, appearing in every corner of the world Even their own people are being acussed as bots and shills for the phantom opponent, who paradoxically seems both too weak and both too strong A victory here would require a total mobilization of the population, but not in a military sense but rather a memetic sense, where every citizen spreads the fiction of their side and seeks to infest every enemy with his own mind virus
The war is pretty much over absent a new development. The moderate beheaders stay in the Idlib zoo, Gurds have their own playpen, and Erdomeme has a little part of Syria all to himself.

Syria condemned the illegal excavation works targeting its antiquities by US, French, and Turkish forces and their backers in the areas under their occupation.
An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry told on Monday that the Ministry condemns all illegal excavation works conducted by the US, French and Turkish troops and their agents in Manbej , Afrin , Idleb, Hasaka , Raqqa and other areas under their occupation.
There is an increase in excavation works, looting and thefts of Syrian cultural heritage which contributes to destroying it, the Ministry said.
Such works constitute a new war crime which is added to the crimes committed against the Syrian people, its history and civilization , the Ministry said, adding that the terrorist organizations and their supporters have carried out the acts of robbery of antiquities and the Syrian cultural heritage since the beginning of the terrorist war on Syria as part of a scheme aimed at destroying the Syrian civilized and cultural heritage and to depriving the Syrian people of their past.
The Ministry called on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to condemn these grave violations affecting the Syrian cultural heritage and to expose the tools implemented and those behind them.
The Ministry reiterated the Syrian Arab Republic’s insistence to liberate all of its territories, preserve its national identity and preserve its culture heritage.

ROSTOV-ON-DON, December 10. /TASS/. The Taganrog-based Beriev Aircraft Company has delivered the upgraded A-50U long-range radar surveillance aircraft to Russia’s Aerospace Force, the company said in a statement obtained by TASS on Monday.
"On December 6, the Beriev Aircraft Company delivered another A-50U serially modernized long-range radar surveillance plane (side number ‘red’ 45) to the Aerospace Force of Russia. After passing all the necessary trials, the plane was transferred to an Aerospace Force crew and made a successful flight from Taganrog to the place of its permanent basing," the statement says.
The A-50U new modification features improved radar characteristics while the radar itself is considerably lighter due to the changeover to the new components base. The conditions of the crew’s work have also been improved considerably," the company said.
The Beriev Aircraft Company is modernizing A-50 long-range radar surveillance planes together with the Vega radio engineering group. Now work is underway at the Beriev Aircraft Company for modernizing other A-50 aviation platforms.
The A-50 is designated to detect, track and determine the affiliation of air, large ground and naval targets, provide data on them to command posts, guide fighter jets towards air targets and frontline aircraft towards ground and sea targets.

>DUBAI (Reuters) - The United Nations special envoy to Yemen said on Monday he hopes there will be an agreement by the warring factions to hold another round of talks early next year.
There will be a detailed plan for those talks, and the next round will discuss security arrangements, Martin Griffiths said on the sidelines of the Yemen peace talks outside Stockholm.
The Sweden-based talks, which began last week, will be the first in many rounds of consultations, he said.
>RIMBO, Sweden (Reuters) - U.N. special envoy Martin Griffiths said on Monday Yemen’s warring parties had yet to agree on main sticking points in peace talks, including a ceasefire in Hodeidah and reopening Sanaa airport, but that consultations would continue.
The talks in Sweden are set to last until Dec. 13. Grifffiths said another round would be held early next year in the effort to end a war pitting the Iranian-aligned Houthi group against the Saudi-backed government of Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
“I’m hopeful that we can reach an agreement on de-escalation to reduce fighting in (Hodeidah and Taiz). I am hoping that we can, we are not there yet,” he told reporters.

BEIRUT (Reuters) - The Syrian military will demobilise some conscripted and reserve officers, the military said on Monday, following the government’s recapture of much of the country from rebels and the dwindling of fighting on many fronts.
Last week U.N. special Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura said there was “no major military territorial conflict” at present, but Damascus has sworn to retake every inch of Syria and there is no sign of an imminent peace deal.
The tide of the 7 1/2-year-old conflict turned in the government’s favour in 2015 with the intervention of Russian air power to supplement Iran-backed militias fighting in support of President Bashar al-Assad.
The army general command issued an administrative order on Monday ending active service for conscripted officers who will have completed five extra years, beyond their original 18-month term of mandatory military service, in January.
The order, which takes effect next week, also demobilizes reserve officers who joined in 2013 and who will have completed five years of reserve service by January.
The army began demobilising some conscripts who had served long periods in May, shortly after it took back eastern Ghouta, the last major rebel enclave near the capital Damascus.
After the conflict erupted in 2011, desertions, defections and deaths drained the Syrian army. It has relied on critical support from Shi’ite militias including Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah movement, though devastating Russian air strikes on rebel areas proved decisive in Assad’s military comeback.
Syria conscripts men at age 18 into the army. During the conflict many conscripts said they were serving additional years with no sign of being discharged.
Damascus announced an amnesty in October for men who deserted the army or avoided military service, giving them several months to report for duty without facing punishment.
BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:20 P.M.) – Several Russian spy planes were seen above the skies of the Idlib province, today, as they continue to conduct surveillance flights across northwest Syria.
According to a military source in the Hama province, Russian IL-20 spy planes were seen above the skies of Idlib, where they repeatedly flew over the jihadist rebel positions.
Among the places that were mostly observed by the Russian Air Force was the Jisr Al-Shughour District of Idlib, which has the highest concentration of jihadists in all of Syria.
In particular, the jihadists that are most active in the Jisr Al-Shughour District are from groups like Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party (TIP).
The Russian spy planes were reportedly capturing images of the jihadist bases and their movements around the Idlib province.
These images are often passed to the Syrian military, who later carry out artillery and missile strikes on these jihadist installations.
It means that Russia have a huge surplus of money but less growth for less spending (for now).
This is not something that you will hear on the news but russia is most likely going on a long term diversification of the economy, by having surplus and budget on low prices is one step.
Imagine your business earning money but instead of reinvesting it, you save it or put it on other companies. That is the first rule of diversification on the economic book.
We have a huge deficit btw

BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:55 P.M.) – The Saudi Coalition continued their offensive in northern Yemen, today, targeting the Houthi defenses inside the Sa’ada Goverorate.
According to pro-Saudi media, the Coalition troops managed to score a new advance inside the Baqim District of Sa’ada on Monday after overrunning the Houthi defenses near the border-crossing.
Backed by Saudi airstrikes, the Coalition troops were able to capture several building blocks after the Houthi forces fell back towards the district-center.
This new advance in the Sa’ada Governorate comes just 24 hours after the Saudi Coalition scored a big advance inside the Baqim District.
The Sa’ada Governorate has long been under the control of the Houthi forces; they took hold of it after Spring 2015 offensive.
You've explained it really nice and comprehensive. I've always thought of it "amount of money country's central bank can spend to buy own country's money" Cheers
Russia is going on the diversification path, this is very clear unless your blind, you can see from the agriculture to the tech industry. And of course this is not new it started years ago, but you will not see it on the news until is too late, only the market knows for now.
