Future Sailor

I just swore into the US Navy. I ship some time soon.

Did I get conned by the man or am I still good?

you're an idiot fighting for israel

My brother is a seaman.
Just made NCO I think.
He seems to love being apart of the military and serving his country.
Hates the bureaucracy of it and all the demoralizing bullshit from the media and the liberal civilians tho.

You are a textbook fag

enjoy the nightly buttsecks, sailor

I'm conservative and think your brother is a braindead shabbo's goy

military service is gibs for retards who cant hack it in the real world. thats why they all kill themselves when they get out. also of them all the navy is the most gay.

OP is canon fodder.

I just don't want to pay for college and I reckon the Navy is the branch I'm least likely to lose limbs in

Hopefully

Depends...
What's your rate?

3rd uniform is peak aesthetics. 5th is also acceptable. The blueberry suit is fucking retarded and the result of the services trying to make "unique" camo rather than making useful shit - same with army ACU and air force ABU.
Also what job are you signing on for and why isn't it aviation?

Dude fafsa has covered my college so far.
Nigga, you got >conned by the man.

>Navy
OP is literally a faggot.
Have fun with all those semen

They tried to make me an MM but I told them to fuck off so right now I'm temporarily in PACT. My top picks are HM, GM, QM, CTI, and OS

just dont say anything remotely offensive, dont have opinions, and just act as if youre castrated.

if you have any mental health issues or independent thoughts, just smoke and drink until they disappear

will do

My dad was in the Army and he did exactly that. Went from PVT to Captain. It's the best advice anybody can give

Even if you signed up for the Navy there is always the possibility that you will be assigned to an infantry unit in the next ZOG war.

If you look at the Navy as a sort of safe space where nothing ugly can happen to you, you are wrong.

When Shlomo will call, you will have to answer with your blood.

Attached: shlomo.jpg (542x428, 118K)

All the depression and drinking with 90% less loss of limbs/face

I was CTI.

Can you pass a background check for TS clearance? Its through and no shit. $100,000 and the FBI goes up your ass with a fine tooth comb.

If not, Hospital Corpman is a good next pick.

Ur more likely to become gay in Navy than in Army or Marines...

Funny thing is that I actually immigrated here with my parents as a kid so I already went through all that shit because of all that mess. Clearance came back a couple of weeks ago

what's your mos?

LOOOOOL enjoy those four years idiot. I sure didn't! Should've just stayed in school.

It's ratings for navy, not MOS

In PACT (long story) but hoping for HM, GM, QM, CTI, or OS

It's eight years now lmao

I hope you fall into the ocean and get eaten by a shark while fighting for Israel you fucking loser. You would be better off killing yourself right now, because at least in that case you would have died a free man instead of a slave to Zionism.

No.. no you haven't.

An immigration background check is nothing compared to a DOD security clearance background check.

If the recruit told you it was, they lied to you.

I'll certainly keep that in mind thanks

then you picked the wrong branch to enlist in my dude

Attached: chairforce.jpg (610x409, 24K)

I'm looking to apply for a USAF pilot slot. Gotta pass the AFOQT though first, working on that right now.

I still have my dignity

Attached: 1541489799652.jpg (644x500, 56K)

kek sadly true

If you can get into the USAFA and keep your opinions to yourself then your career would be set. It'd be impossible to do poorly. Good luck user

Attached: usafa_nmf2.jpg (400x241, 24K)

I've never met anybody who lies more than my local Navy recruiters so I'm not surprised

I am going to make thread completely debunking this meme one day, but too many habbenings and I am lazy too make a detailed thread right now I'll wait until the New Year... The Criticism of fighting for Israeli interests is valid in modern times but saying that Combat Skills are Useless in the Real World is laughable especially when these samefags push for accelerationism...

Attached: HECUINFRANTRY.jpg (1920x1080, 198K)

oh god. engineers have it shitty, but undesignated often have it worse. also fuck the navy - should've joined the national guard, they get so much extra gibs in college.
t. 6 years in the navy, 1 year out.

not for long bucko. 6 years. I averaged 285 days at sea a year after an initial 8 months in schooling.

I refuse to ship without a rating. I'd rather quit DEP. I got a decent ASVAB score so I have plenty to choose from and months before I ship

Well there's validity in the Israel criticism but you're also part of the big stick in US politics so you still serve a purpose to America too. I don't believe the "fighting for your freedom" shit because it's idealized bullshit. Our military is most of our leverage over other nations

you better not have signed shit because as far as I know a pact contract requires a year at sea before you can apply for a rate. in case you're fucked, be very careful what rate you pick to get out of undes. I had a buddy that struck BM just to not be undesignated and he later cross-rated to CTI. Keep in mind you will not always be able to change rate.

I went in as a sonar technician (surface), lied to about it being a submariner rate, and was unable to cross-rate. Easy job, but fuck.

hehehhe semen heehehehhe

Officially my rate is still MM but since I signed for it before i had clearance it means I'm also technically in PACT. I'm in this weird spot where I'm legally in neither so I literally can't ship before I pick something

In other words I'm an MM with no actual spot in any bootcamp division so really I'm not in PACT but their situation is similar to mine

enjoy your gibs you welfare piece of shit

Will do

Yo ass gon be turning wrenches. Whats gonna happen is the rate will be "at capacity" and you will have to fufill your obligation as a MM....you don goofed.

If I could go back, I would not have joined. Met a lot of great people but it's nowhere near as "welfare" as anybody thinks it is.

MM is a long/hot work hour job. Engineers spend stupid amounts of time on ship in port, and are usually port and starboard at sea. Deck seamen ain't too much better, but engineers constantly go to mast for gun-decking.

This, I was thinking of getting out but I got over 10 years in....engineering too. Hope OP likes doing lube oil tests at 4 oclock in the morning.

Advancement rates are also trash. Known a lot of people who high year tenured out as MMs; on the bright side, CO's usually throw those rates meritorious advancements.

what a good goy.

Well like I said, I'm not really an MM it's just a placeholder. Whenever someone goes to MEPS, doesn't have clearance, but doesn't want to do PACT they sign them to an arbitrary rating just to get them past MEPS and into DEP. It's a fairly common practice and there's a few other kids like that too

Well I didnt be as retarted as OP and joined the coast guard. Worst u/w ive had is 3months in 3 months out.

Will likely be applying for OTS since I'm nearing late 20s and have my degree, but nevertheless thank you for the advice.

Welcome aboard, you fucked up by going undesignated though but don't be a shitbag and it'll be aright, keep your head down in boot but don't be afraid to volunteer yourself because meritorious promotion is pretty cool, after that fleet is apparently pretty simple as long as you aren't a retard.

Also if you know you can get a clearance and have a good head CTI is an awesome rate. The main drawback is I have to spend an extended period of time in California, but the schools are great and the command here is very relaxed. Also if you are already multilingual it becomes a lot easier.

Other posters are going to tell you that we prop up Israel and exist to die for the elite. However true this is, they forget that despite this, America is one of the greatest countries on Earth and for it to continue to exist we need to be there. The fact that these faggots can afford to sit back and criticize you for it is living proof that we have something worth fighting for.

I've already got offers to go FMF Corpsman but I don't want to die in Nigeria or Syria so I passed on it. They bring us new rates every on a plate with signing bonuses every other week

They sign them to arbitrary ratings because they have quotas to make and what the fuck are you going to do about it when you find out they BS'd you into a contract?

Hooyah user

Attached: this-image.jpg (300x300, 4K)

Thats what they told you. Im telling you off the bat that you are doing your bitchwork wether you like it or not and my bet is you will be a FNMM on a ship until your school. Or they will be over billeted and you will just go to MM a school

There's no "offer to be an FMF corpsman" that's more BS. I've known a shitload of corpsman who bought that baloney just to push paperwork. HM ain't a bad gig though desu.

Call my recruiter a week before I ship and tell them I'm out. You can still do that in DEP, you just won't be coming back

Yeah, actually this. I just remembered the last batch of engineer-babbies I'd seen come in was this exact way.

It was some Advanced Technical Field Corpsman thing that'd end me up on Marine bases. Close enough to say no

Well who wants to be the first to post reaction images making fun of OP for fucking himself.....fuck it Ill go first

Attached: 1539144186770.gif (512x384, 2.22M)

I'm sure it'll all work out just great for me and I will get exactly what I want

Attached: brainlettttt.jpg (800x450, 41K)

sounds like how they told me I could volunteer for sub service at MEPS as an STG (sonar technician geographic) only to find out the whole sub community thinks STGs are a joke once I hit A-school.

Also whatever you do don't be a fucking bitch and quit at basic, it's actually pretty fucking easy, just don't be a dumbass or lie or break simple rules. Also don't call yourself future sailor when you get there. Enjoy the spicy air room and the ass shots.

Attached: 1544066772487.jpg (540x527, 14K)

Just as long as you serve on the west coast.think Hawaii vs east coast and going to Naples Italy.

Yeah I have a bunch of friends who went through it recently so I got the inside scoop. It's just boring and mildly depressing, not hard. Thanks anyway user

Attached: 1543386787903.jpg (668x668, 74K)

Pollwog to a shellback.

or do quit out of basic and get some kind of bullshit claim out of it so you can claim benefits.

Had a little nigger kid get beat(worked out) so hard we was medically discharged and got like a 60% rating.

It's what you make of it. Nothing more, nothing less. Just don't be that E-3 faggot that buys a 5-series BMW.

If you can get out and go coast guard I would recommend it. Also operations specialist (command center bitch) is a critical rate.

You can quit any time you're in the Delayed Entry Program but if you come back to MEPS with any other branch they will 100% tell you what you're gonna be doing. You wasted their money the first time so the second time they basically own your ass. I'd be better off staying desu

what does this have to do with dignity?

Attached: 1544489592953.jpg (844x464, 100K)

Because you spend months at a time following the same schedule every day, sweeping the same p-way every day, painting the same bulkheads every day. Then you go back to land only for your fellow Americans to disrespect you and call you a welfare queen.

This on top of 90% of nobody knowing why the fuck we're underway, when you're going back, why you're getting extended...

I mean, yeah, if you're made to feel your life is a complete waste of time I guess that might have an effect your dignity

I'm pretty sure everyone in the military has that feeling, but I'm sure being on a ship will make that thought heavier on your mind

If you didnt get into the intermediate level aviation community, you fucked up.

I dont think thats true. I was dep in the army said nah fuck that once they tried the switcharoo then went in the coast guard.then again that was probably when you were in kindergarten

Hey Op will say this for the last time. Might wanna check out the coast guard before you commit.
