There are two schools of thought in Catholicism: 1) the traditional, hard-nosed, conservative, nationalistic ones (Germans, Italians, Polish, Spanish, some Midwest Americans) and 2) the universalist, liberal, globalist ones lead by the JESUITS (also the French, Irish, Filipinos, Mexicans, South Americans,[basically any other third-worlder] etc.). I don't think so. The Church won't ever admit that it was wrong, but it will periodically veer away from something and stigmatize discussion of "that one period where we allowed the sodomites to subvert the hierarchy, pollute the liturgy, and drive millions of souls into eternal damnation".
Norvus Ordo will never fully be destroyed as a consequence of this (among other things, but speaking in terms of 'stuff Catholics are likely to notice', this is very high on the list) but it will be utilized less often.
