right, but the theoretical limit is 7nm...so we've officially plateaud

fuck, wrong board

AMD still exists?

Actually 5 was the theoretical limit but they've already made 1nm transistors

Got your boards mixed up huh? I do that sometimes too. Also >the cope of intelfags trying to get over 14nm

Out of what? Hydrogen atoms? Or etched in what? Cause that's like 18 hydrogen atoms wide.

fuck intel. they're fucking evil.
don't cheer them on.

>(((Intel)))

TSMC will be doing 5nm by then

Technically it was 5nm for FinFET but IBM has proven 3nm GAAFET in labs.

Intel would be hit with antitrust if AMD went under.

The NSA actively works to disable hardware telemetry every time they get a new batch of hardware. Intel is the most documented example but I wouldn't be surprised if other pieces of hardware are compromised like ME.

>fuck intel. they're fucking evil.
>don't cheer them on.
intel may be jewish but you never want a monopoly, user

if intel went under their best talent would either make their own company and get new backing or get picked up by someone like nvidia so that they could get into the cpu market. it would be good for the industry and wouldn't result in a monopoly, just a new dominant player.

>picked up by someone like nvidia
jesus no that would be even worse

Oh cool, I wanted a combustible CPU?

AMD has already gained massive market share with the ryzen 2000 series and many of those same people will upgrade to ryzen 3000 since it's so cheap and uses the same motherboards it's just a drop in upgrade. performance whores already on intel will move to amd for the upgraded performance. by the time intel is able to respond with 7nm amd will be able to respond with the 4000 series and beat them again. intel fugged up.

>not wanting silicon on the chip dedicated exclusively to meme purposes

dont be afraid to dream user

intel demands a monetary trade for an exchange of goods or services, and i do not like that.

I can do Jow Forums on a 486 if I had to. Idgaf.

Reminder that Intel is an israelli company

>2018
>Not pirating more ram

not buying your kiked cpus, kike.

this guy gets it. i saved over $400 dollars this way. bought a piece of shit 512mb ram computer. pirated over 15gb over ram.

Pirate ram?

yeah i got it off r*ddit. you should go over there and then come back when you find it.

>paying for the ram jew
You don't download your ram? Back to redit for you, newfag.

was the factory contaminated by someone bringing raw pork in via plane?

>2018
>pirating ram
yeah, have fun getting fined by your ISP, degenerates
a netram account is only $10 / month for fucks sake

I have spent the past day having my mind blown thinking about how these chips are made. Modern CPUs contain millions (billions?) of transistors (and a couple Mossad/NSA backdoors) and work based on a very simple concept of electricity flowing through switches. I don't understand how something so complex is even possible, let alone manufactured on a mass scale.

next you'll tell me with blockchains they can create the oracle solver

I thought intel bought Nvidia?

Bro they cut things with light. FUCKING LIGHT.

Daily reminder that China cucked Qualcomm (an American co) by blocking the NXP acquisition.

read the whole article you imbecile. it means TSMC will not have orders for 100% capacity cause others like APPLE and QUALCOMM reduced their orders
