>Be one of the most influential and revered Jews in Hollywood
>Decide to make a WWII film
>Patriotic, nationalistic
>No references to Holocaust or Jews
>Germans are given humanity instead of being typical evil cartoon villains
>Arguably the best war film ever made
How did this happen?
Be one of the most influential and revered Jews in Hollywood
What movie are you talking about? Because saving private ryan sure as fuck isnt it.
Spielberg likes war movies. Started out making them on a handheld camera in high school.
Also, there was some reference to the Jew character.
Also, other jews made very patriotic war films like the Big Red One by Sam Fuller. Apocalypse Now written by a jew.
Many jews are patriotic and like the military and history.
Don't fall for the anti-semitism.
Most are not that way. Numbers don't lie.
>Many jews are patriotic and like the military and history.
A Jew is on the bus in Nazi Germany and sees another Jew reading Der Stuermer. He asks him why he's reading that. The Jew with the paper answers "Look, I got plenty of troubles at home and at work. The only time I can relax is on the bus. You think I want to read stories like 'Synagogues Vandalized Again' or 'Property of Jews seized?' Not when I can read the Nazi newspapers and see 'Jews Take Over the Banks!' or 'Jews Take Over the Universities!' That's me they're talking about!"
>no references to the holocaust or Jews
Some of our most patriotic movies came from Jews. John Milius= Apolcalypse Now and Red Dawn.
Most gentiles in Hollywood are liberal too. So what? Not everything is a collective.
Hah
Lool that movie is incredibly shameless with its propaganda, nice try.
Normandy grave site opening spotlights one of the only star of david graves in the whole fucking sea of crosses
Then Matt Damon goes off on a "Goodwill Hunting" 1990s fake street punk Boston riff about his brothers fucking around with an ugly girl. This was a 1940 Iowa farm boy with the Norman Rockwell mother going all "wicked good" Beantown wigger Goodwill Hunting on us.
Not to mention the ET guy becoming Audie Murphy the day after he drops his typewriter and the little Anne Frank French girl slapping her dad.
So we have at least three patriotic jew directors. Sam Fuller, Steve Spielberg, and John Milius.
Of course they like their golem army
Apocalypse Now is not patriotic.
youtu.be
Killing Private Kraut- how Saving Private Ryan promotes war crimes.
Also, Spielberg was recently crying about muh antisemitism & how hes scurr der gonna b annuda shoah! Kike fuck.
The Germans weren't portrayed humanely they look like cardboard shooting gallery cutouts and they die like bad guys in an Indiana Jones film.
SPR is thematically incoherent because Spielberg is a squishy beta jewish lib who can't stomach the necessary violence of war.
The Matt Damon monologue was a terrible ad lib. Speilberg should have never let Damon do that. It was really awful.
I never watched that movie past the first scene. I remember thinking the tone seemed a little 'off' at the time. It's almost pornographic in the way it focuses on soldier getting dismembered and killed, pissing themselves, crying, etc... The debasing, demoralizing parts of war, minus heroism and comradery. A lot of people loved it back then because it was gritty and brutal, but it just seemed nihilistic to me. Band of Brothers was much better.
SPR is pure propaganda. The majority of German troops are shown at a distance.
>I never watched that movie past the first scene.
> The debasing, demoralizing parts of war, minus heroism and comradery.
Maybe if you watched past the first scene you would know that heroism and comradery was the entire theme of the film.
>Arguably the best war film ever made
there is no argument
>numbers don't lie
Oh boy, have I got 8 million tombstones to sell you!
>Many jews are patriotic and like the military and history.
Red Dawn was just anti-USSR. Jews hated the Soviets by then because the commies purged them from party leadership and backed the Arabs in the 6 Day War.
OP's idiocy aside, are there any movies that are actually like he describes?
Everyone else says the first scene was the only memorable part.

i wonder who could be behind that post
He had a dude holding his guts screaming for his mother and a disoriented man holding his severed arm walking around aimlessly.
Honestly after typing this I'm not sure why I responded there's no way anyone is this dumb.
I think the OP is quite an intelligent fellow.
>Apolcalypse Now
>patriotic
did we watch the same thing?
They sound like NPC's. The opening scene was the most gory, but far from the best or most memorable. I'll never get the sound of the squeeky tank tracks as they approach before the last battle out of my head.
The Great Escape fits the bill except it wasn't made by jews obv.
Happy Hanukkah
>No references to Holocaust or Jews
>Jews
I meant in the context of the holocaust
>Milius
BASED. red dawn was killer too
Fuck Saving Private Ryan
Watch The Camp on Blood Island
Conan is probably the most red pilled and based film ever made. I didn't know Milius was a Jew, he must be one of the red pilled ones like Bobby Fisher and Stanley Kubrick
I used to think the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan was pretty good until I saw that it was a total ripoff from The Longest Day. Steven Stealberg. Another movie he homaged the shIt out of was The Misfits, from whence Stealberg borrowed the shark hunting scene from Jaws.
My grandfather served in Normandy and he hated this movie.
His wife was a Holocaust survivor btw.
this
or "a walk in the sun"
or "battleground"
or "12 o'clock high"
You realize Spielberg made Jaws too right?
>best war film ever
Lol, imagine having such shit taste. That movie is nothing but a pile of shitty cliches on top of an improbable and convoluted story.
All american ww2 films are stage 5 cancer.
CROM!
Uhhhh... Thin Red Mile?
>muh d day landing
>muh pattons boys
>muh holocaust
>muh heroic bravery
its all the same cliches and american GIs with their fake looking prop mesh covered helmets and canteens. I want to see a film from a nazi soldiers perspective during the german invasion of the soviet union.
what the fuck is crom, you autist?
oh shit I thought you were replying to me for some reason.

Imagine being this ignorant. Imagine living so long without seeing the best barbarian epic ever written.
Imagine never seeing James Earl Jones turn into a snake.
Imagine not knowing what is best in life.
That film was butchered on the editing room.
Because the story took part at the invasion of Normandy and their story on taking back France, also because it’s true that the Nazis were just soldier following orders and they should be called Germans. Imagine yourself in Auschwitz and you killing Jews and you having some second thoughts but you imagine your family and what would happen if you say no so you do your duties and your at that point where your reasoning for killing is orders and your just being a good soldier
That jew starts crying about the holocaust when they find a hitler youth knife of one of the german soldiers.
Apocalypse Now has a very positive portrayal of US servicemen. Heroic at times also.
lol how is it even once the time is their any other place that when you sorta put it into perspective it's meant like you had it but wasn't making a statement on that haha
That was the point. It was a stupid story that didn't have a good payoff and wasn't terribly interesting. It was a dumb, realistic conversation that two dumshit GIs could have had while sitting around in a warzone.
Why were none of the allies firing their rifles in the opening scene? Seems like they could hit the machine gunners

>>Germans are given humanity instead of being typical evil cartoon villains
Lol, did you even watch the movie
William Goldman the iconic screenwriter said it took the emotional air out of the movie. And I agree. It was weird and out of place and totally deviates from the tone of the rest of the movie. It shouldn't have been in there.
Did you?
I liked it.
You mixed up The Thin Red Line and the Green Mile you mutt
I hate most ww2 films. Iron Cross might be good, but I haven't watched it. Das Boot was good.
A.N. is great - John Milius is an honorary NEET
I liked it too. Interesting movie. Worthwhile.
Nobody said the kike was not talented. Just that he rapes kids to death.
If he really wanted to, Spielberg probably could've found a way to link the two movies, like a minor character who appears in both.
Because Hollywood has marching orders to deploy propaganda when needed.
Because in real life you cant take such a precise shot while running. And stopping to aim on an open beach while under machinegun fire is suicide. You make a mad dash for cover and hope you get lucky and make it.
What's that got to do with the holocaust?
Did...did you just mix up The Thin Red Line and The Green Mile?
It's okay he probably had a long day at work. He's relaxing with a brew now.
>thin red mile
user, I....
Good post.
>Arguably the best war film ever made
You retarded? Why would a Jew character break into tears upon simply seeing nazi memorabilia for any reason other than the holocaust?
Yeah, I did too, but production and post production was a mess. Fin a video or an article about it. That poor fucker Adrien Brody thought he was the protagonist during the whole filming stage iirc.
Because the knife means he just killed a kid you autist
Her nose is already huge in proportion to her face.
Fuck, you're right.
*Find
or the part when he was showing his star of david to Wehrmacht pow's
yee big sniffr, that bin iz just some holohoax fanfict by a mkuk'd shabboz kindr. enjoi.
Yeah, he was on the cover of a magazine as the lead in the movie then ended up having no role in the film. Very humiliating.
I think this is what it is supposed to be.....the average soldier wouldn't have even know about the concentration camps at that point in the war, and up to that point, it isn't mentioned that the character is Jewish.
they have repeatedly shown it to war veterans maybe theres your answer
meant to reply to
>portraying the Germans as human
>Shaving Ryan's Privates
Nope
Seems like you're confusing it with The Longest Day
...
Poor Pluskat
>no references to holocaust or jews
lol
you clearly have never even fucking seen the movie you lying sack of shit
The knife has SS markings, einstein. The SS did the hardcore killing.
be honest, all you fags care about is the omaha beach part
It's called historical fiction for a reason
I was about to post that link. Rob's great
