I think that you underestimate how media shape our understanding of reality. Dysfunctional women are constantly romanticized and impressionable people (especially people who don't interact with other people much and I assume that is a part of what makes OP think that he is a loser) often fall for it. "Losers" are a nice group of people to be with. They have experienced failure in life and have usually grown from it. As a result they know what's important and isn't important in life. Even if they can't relate to your specific problems they won't judge you for it. And that's the thing, there are many different ways to fail; more than you probably imagine.
