Well, it was all foreseeable the moment Britain voted yes on Brexit so narrowly. It was clear there wasn't going to be a good deal with the EU, because that would encourage other countries to leave as well. What follows is that people were going to be dissatisfied either way. And the blame would fall on the prime minister in power when all of that would happen.
