Please advise: possible new al/ck/ew home?

Hi! I'm from /ck/, but recently our al/ck/ thread was banned from /ck/ after mod approval and 4 happy years there.

I am hoping to get an honest opinion from Jow Forums regulars if we can move here?
We don't cause shit. We just chat in our contained thread and help each other whether it be sobriety, withdrawals, or what 'x' is best to buy within '$y' range.
We also have lots of laughs along the way and our threads usually hit limit within a day, so if you sincerely hate alcohol and alcoholics, I suggest you vote against our moving here, but as I said we have been proven to be harmless on /ck/ for years. It is only recently that a mod took disfavour with us so we need a new home.
I promise we don't bite.
Thoughts/opinions?

As long as you don't spill over in other threads and discuss stuff related to this general there, I guess it's fine.

That's 1+ as long as we keep contained. (I'll say this now most of us have some good life experience Jow Forums aka stay away from alcohol. ;)

Looks like things could work here with you fine anons, BUT early days yet.
I don't want to waste your time and it just be another Jow Forums discussion ruined by two autists who just spam loli daily until thread hits limit.
I honestly don't know when those two get time to sleep.

Hey OP, curious as to why you can't discuss alcohol anymore, did the mod list the reason why over there?

I wasn't in the iirc chat at the time notr have mods spoken out about it so I can only repeat what I heard second hand or hope a mod actually states why. We did no harm for four years, in fact I believe we helped the board with our 'contained' influx.
Ask the mod/s. I did but no reply as yet.
I guess a/some mods feel alcohol doesn't belong on a cooking forum, which is fair enough but first mods allowing it, then letting it go on for four+ years then deciding NO(!) kinda sux.

Sure, pull up a thread and have at it.

Theres plenty of people here that start threads discussing their substance use and abuse, so a dedicated booze thread wouldn’t hurt and might even help to kill less threads.

Sure. Alcohol is a problem in my life so these threads would always be relevant to me

It's always a silhouette with some booze, like the OP pic. Not always the exact same, but that's the general idea.

I usually take 4-6 short naps throughout the day. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll stock up on sleep and sometimes when I'm feeling pretty good I'll take a 6 hour nap every 40 hours or so for up to two weeks.

Okay unless there are some major complaints we will move our discussion thread here eventually. Currently we are having too much fun on Jow Forums with two autists posting 150 images per thread to reach image count.
It's amazing to watch them do it over and over and over. Damn the dedication at keeping their autistic status is just down right beautiful.

I'm all in for it. Seems like a great way to add some kind of community to this board. I don't drink much myself but I suppose I could ask for advice on cheap and good alcohol and maybe hear some good stories.

Can a mod or better yet top dog mod for Jow Forums please chime in and say if we are welcome here?
Also if we are please tell the mods at /ck/ to make a sticky for a week telling everyone where our new home is?
If no mods reply tothis then I understand it to mean we are welcome to post back on /ck/.
