To paraphrase: One of the key tenets is submission to sovereignty through passivity (as opposed to activism). IE active resistance to progressivism only fuels progressivism and obstaining from counter-activism will only leave progressivism without vital fuel. In such a state, the progressive movement will shrivel up and weaken. In its place, a form of governance should be prepared... This theoretical structure would be powered by an intelligent information system built on empirical truth and with the sentience to propose a governmental architecture that will perform better than any current or past government in its ability to serve its customers (the pessants). The problem of finding a responsible, effective sovereign is boiled down to an engineering problem: creating sentient AI which governs without tribal biases and for profit of the nation (and its shareholders)... by default quality of life for the pessants as a whole is improved.
Moldbug's criticism of the Cathedral (really a Synagogue) is mostly legit. His proposed solutions are the LARPings of a Jewish autist avoiding reality

I agree. The idea of the Cathedral being the Neo-Puritan religion makes sense and has merit. The solutions he presents are impossible at least from where we stand today... however the sentient machine idea is intriguing. In fact, if current predictions regarding the emergence of the Singularity hold true, who’s to say that a shift towards a government run by sentient AI won’t happen organically?

But he does also make a valid observation about conservatism in its current form: that it’s structurally unsound and does not provide real solutions other than appeasement to progressivism.
