I am slightly drunk so I will respond where otherwise I wouldn't. To the OP - the thing is, you actually could form a secret society even though you just announced your intentions to the internet. No one would take you seriously and you have anonymity on your side. But the other thing is, no you couldn't start a secret society, because you don't have the money or resources to do it. At most, you could possibly start a cult, but you lack the charisma and driving vision which would inspire people to religiously follow you. Also that's a dumbfuck premise to found either a secret society or a cult on.

The thing is - protestantism isn't that bad, if you take it at it's early, original incarnation as espoused by Martin Luther when he nailed his theses against the door of the Wittenberg cathedral.
