I went in I sat for 15 min, got checked and xrayed, doc consulted with the bone Specialist. They determined I didn't need surgery. I got casted and had a follow up with the specialist every 2 weeks plus was covered for my physiotherapy. Plus because I have a good job my benefits covered short term disability so I relaxed and home and drank lots of milk. They initially estimated a 12 week recovery, I did it in 9, and it was a covered.

I always liked the argument that you could get three types of healthcare. Affordable, For Everyone, or Quality. You could pick two but you can't have all three. The harder you try to have all three, the worse off your outcomes end up being.

I've been sick in the US as a tourist with no insurance and got a perfect treatment. EMT, Cuban doctor, nurses, medicine, infusion. Even got pushed around the hospital in a wheelchair by a nigger. What's so bad about it?

There must be a clause for denial of service in times of extreme duress if payment cannot be acquired. As things stand, one of the largest drivers of cost is the need for extremely expensive treatments for the most severe cases that end up not being covered even remotely. We get bled out with illegals not paying in and larger societal health issues, but is the big spikes of extreme cases that drive costs so much. The issue then becomes the fear that if you receive extreme trauma (bullet to the head) and are unable to negotiate or show proof of payment you would be allowed to die.
