This is my bullshit conspiracy theory, I have no real evidence, but here's what's up.
tl;dr: Glenn Beck didn't fire Gavin. Matt Kibbe is responsible.
Matt Kibbe is a libertarian who was very active in the Tea Party movement back in the day. He also does a show on BlazeTV, formerly CRTV. He has in the past, made a brief comment on his show that was negative towards the Proud Boys. I got the impression that he wanted to go farther, but Gavin McInnes was a fellow host on the network.
When the merger between CRTV and TheBlaze was announced, there was every indication that Gavin would stay on. Glenn was talking about Gavin being part of the network on his radio show, and the head of CRTV explicitly stated that Gavin McInnes would remain part of the network one week before suddenly firing him.
Glenn Beck was not on board with firing Gavin. He made it clear on his radio show on Monday. Gavin has been on Glenn's radio show before, and Glenn seems to like him.
Kibbe on the other hand, does not. On Saturday, while every other host on the network was silent about Gavin getting fired, Kibbe retweeted BlazeTV's tweet about how they no longer have a relationship with Gavin.
On Tuesday, Matt Kibbe did his first episode of the week, came bounding in smiling, and dedicated the episode to being against political violence. He started with Antifa, but then started talking about the Proud Boys, saying they're creating an equivalent to Antifa, the news won't tell their side of the story, won't cut them any slack, and they don't deserve any slack. He never mentioned Gavin by name, but it was clear he was waiting to do this video until after Gavin had no way of defending himself.
So why was Gavin fired so suddenly? His show was updated Friday night, and then it was wiped on Saturday. Who was Glenn Beck's guest on his radio show on Friday morning? Why, none other than Matt Kibbe. Glenn was talking to Kibbe about how excited he was with the merger, looking forward to having all these voices under one umbrella, and how he loves that it's not an echo chamber. He said to Kibbe, and I quote: >You are in a company that has anyone from you, to Gavin McInnes, to me, to Mark Levin, to Eric Bolling..."
Now here's the speculation. Kibbe had had enough. Hearing himself next to Gavin's and being reminded they're part of the same network pissed him off so bad he went to management and demanded that he be removed immediately. Or something like that anyway.
I’m guessing it was unrelated. Probably couldn’t give her enough money, or maybe she just hates Glenn Beck. Either way, it seems her going was her own choice. I don’t think she was fired like Gavin was. But apparently it was a very sudden decision. His Laura Loomer interview was on the homepage on Friday, the first thing you see when you logged onto the site, and then not 24 hours later he was gone.
Roaming has been on Gavin’s show many times. Most of the other hosts seemed to like or at least tolerate him. I wonder how they’re reacting behind the scenes.
