I was born in Chicago and I've lived here my entire life. While I absolutely comply with all applicable gun laws now, back in the day when we had a handgun ban I owned handguns. I owned long arms and didn't register them. I carried for over a decade when it was a felony. I never got a Chicago Firearms Permit and never bothered to register handguns even when they were grudgingly legalized. I owned assault weapons when they were banned at both the municipal and county levels. I had ammunition shipped to my doorstep despite it being illegal.
I'm not a criminal so I was never caught.
Don't comply. Our greatest power is just doing what we were going to do anyway and waiting until either the wind changes or we take what we want in court.

The proper response is a public demonstration of non compliance the day that the bill takes effect. We have state law on our side and most Pittsburgh cops are quietly conservative. A large open carry demonstration would send a message to the left that unlike New Yorkers we won't have our rights trampled.
If they do attempt to arrest/prosecute at scale, the images of peaceful, hard working american gun owners being arrested will help to solidify opposition and create a group with standing to challenge the law in the courts.
If they don't- we'll have humiliated them publicly and proven the worthlessness of their bill to their own progressive base.
Don't organize on conventional social media sites- this will only promote counter protest by shills. Organize in your local sportsmen's clubs, and call your friends in West Virginia and Ohio.
PA is the last bastion of second amendment freedom in the Northeast. Don't let it fall.
