To be fair the main goal of the pipeline is so that is can be delivered to foreign markets and not the US. Not sure why this is such a big deal for the GOP's America First. It is Canada oil going to China. Sure we get a few thousand workers for ~2 years to build it but they are using our land. Why should our tax dollars go to ripping American land from Americans to support the Chinese and Canada?

Fun fact, if the government ever ties this shit and says you can do everything up to the project they are lying. Farmer know when they install power lines they create a 200' gap on each side for clearance so they can move machinery through. A oil pipeline will be just as bad if not worse. There are many stories about farmers getting all their crops cut because of overzealous workers.
