Fun fact about new mexico
It was one of the only territories to have actual mexicans in it that were more numerous than whites, natives and blacks. Still does

I lived in Albuquerque for a couple years and it was terrible except for when the "He Will Not Divide Us" camera go installed a block away.

Now I live up in Taos. It's still NM but a lot better than ABQ

Even Detroit is better than ABQ.

New Mexico is easily the worst State however it is still 100X better than old Mexico.

>100X
LOL no. 1.00000001X at best

wassup land of enchantment having fun among united cultures?
spent 15 years in Farmpit aka farmington in glorious san JU-WHAN county in very close proximity to da NAV-A-HOE rezervation
ama i guess.

How bad was the crime?

i was 5 when we moved there

Lived in Cruces for 2 and a half years for work. More Germans than expected. Hottest girl I ever fucked was a German broad from there. Rent and land are dirt cheap. My place was $400/month with rent, electricity, internet, and water included. Hiking was also pretty great (if you're into that sort of thing).

The downsides? It's fucking New Mexico. Everyone is Mexican. All restaurants are Mexican. Everyone is dumb. Things just move slower compared to the East Coast. Generally a bad place to live as a young adult. Maybe it'd be nice to live there when you retire.

Albuquerque is decent.

Nice trinity there.

Travelled to ABQ for a week last summer for work. The people seemed decent and the food was ok. But one thing struck me. The amount of Mexican/Native/Hispanic people walking around drunk was crazy. I didn't see them panhandling much but given they likely get gov money maybe they don't have to. Every gas station was a mini liquor store. The booze was cheap but the beer was 1.5-2x as expensive as anywhere else in the country.

I did learn a lot about the different types of local brown people.

Overall it is like the Spokane of the desert without a decent river or parks.

Lots of pretty landscapes but not much else. Then again that's like most of the southwest, just like the military testing.
I was hiking around the desert once and some airforce base started dropping bombs and the shockwaves actually hurt a bit. At least we have shit to drop on sand niggers.

Holloman?

>Truth or Consequences

Wtf is that

how much white rain hair spray have you seen navajo's drink?
personally witnessed one drink hand sani

It's a tiny shithole of a meth infested town.

The story goes that a few decades ago there was a radio show that sponsored a contest in which any town that renames their town to "Truth or Consequences" (the name of the radio show) will receive a park and parade paid for by the radio show. The small town of (Hot Springs? I think?) got together and renamed their town, "Truth or Consequences"

Are there fireants in New Mexico?
I remember standing barefoot outside of my hotel in some grass and I was like, I love being barefoot I can't do this back home because if the weather changes I'll die.
But then my feet started burning, there were ants all over them, I don't know if the burning was from just a regular ant bite or if they were fire ants, I've never been bitten by an ant before or since.
But it hurt like fuck for like 15 minutes until I got enough booze in me to not notice.

New Mexico, especially ABQ, has such a weird aura to it...

like it just feels like people aren't supposed to live there

There is nothing to test there except bombs. Rich people hate mexicans that aren't working for them and therefore don't move there and ruin the economy or culture.

t. guy who lived there for 7 years and a best friend who lived there his entire life

i used to live in nm.
i was addicted to meth and i made these videos
heres a good one let me know wat u think

Saying you live in NM and are addicted to meth is redundant.

Uh, what's with the Berber Nomad look?

NM is a trash state full of liberal faggots, inbred mongoloids, and Santa Fe “artists”. ABQ is easily the shittiest metropolis in the SW. Soon, we (AZ) will partition it between ourselves, Texas and the Navajo Nation

Joking aside, there's no place better for your soul than the wilderness in NM

Fuck off, we're full.

I've always wondered why you never hear about New Mexico. Taos and other areas are some of the most incredible places I've been on this Earth.

Is there an effort to keep New Mexico hidden from rest of America?

I have to disagree. Best culinary experience in America is in Santa Fe and Taos.

>photo

Is that near Cloudcroft?

What's so bad about Albuquerque? I've been there a few times and it's in a beautiful area.

Most likely that or the Guadalupe mountain area near Carlsbad

My brother lives in Taos...he seems to be enjoying it.

>Taos

I only visited there for a few days, but the Mexicans seem really hostile to whites compared with most of the state.

eh they are but without us whites they wouldn't have any revenue for their roadside burrito stands.

I want visit and perhaps live there because of Breaking Bad.

It still has actual Spaniards too that have been there for centuries now.

Can confirm

I figure it's because of all the rich white shitlibs they come into contact with up there. Las Cruces seems like the best overall NM town just in terms of domestic tranquility.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Parker_Ray

Julia Roberts bought up a bunch of land there.

"What's my name, eh?"

>What's it like living in a giant government run lab?
pls explain

>Now I live up in Taos

I remember stopping over in Taos once. There was a white hippie commune in the center of downtown that was charging $125 a night to sleep in a teepee out in a grassy courtyard.

And I remember that in the middle of the courtyard with about six teepees scattered about it, right in the middle was a big anthill with red ants coming out of it.

Taos is like a Mecca for business-hippies.

As long as Ruidoso stays white I'm happy. But fuck if a bunch of mudslime refugees get shipped there or Salvadorans find out about it I'll be furious.
Keep quiet about the nice places though, it's how they get ruined by tourists and even worse leafs.

Its overrun with homeless people and crime is retarded. The local government is corrupt as fuck and interference with local businesses is killing the economy. I lived right of Central and 8th downtown so that was my perspective.
I know that place, Its in Arroyo Seco. I know the people who used to own it. It's called the Snow Mansion.
I like Taos a lot, but I have some family here and that made me a lot of friends with good people. Also there are lots of business opportunities here if you have any hustle.

A shithole, as expected. Except the food. Grew up in Albuquerque. Still better than illinois though.

Visited Ruidoso about 10 years ago, nice little town. Good to hear its stayed that way.

I will say though, the amount of Mexican nationals I saw at the ski resort was pretty shocking, but at least they are seasonal tourists that leave after the snow melts.

Sounds like ann arbor.

No they were the inner earth midgets sucking the maple off your fag feet. Stay in Canada.

>What's it like living in a giant government run lab?
I don't notice it.

>Things just move slower compared to the East Coast
This cannot be understated. Seriously, despite Cruces be the second largest in the state, everything still moves at a fucking snails pace. There's a reason why NM is nicknamed "Land of Mañana". It's a pervasive element that exemplifies the New Mexican mindset.

Ruidioso is absolutely stunningly beautiful. It's where I actually hope to retire some decades from now, as long as it stays the same. The perfect little mountain-forest town with a quaint population and amazing weather.

I don't understand people who complain about living out west. Try living in rural central Illinois, where it's flat as a pancake for hundreds of miles, it's cold and bleak for 7 to 8 months out of the year, and the rest it's a bug infested swamp with tornado warnings every week.

I literally just moved to Detroit from ABQ

How do the two compare?

This, I'm up in a2. 1215 a month for 770 sq ft.

Both have panhandlers on all the freeway exits, funnily enough.

There are a lot more white people in Detroit, and obviously more blacks. ABQ has much better maintained roads, and Detroit drivers are terrible. Seriously, rude, foolish, break the rules constantly, unaware of their surroundings. It’s awful.

Homeless black men seem to think I’m very handsome, or at least that it’s the type of flattery that will get me to give them money. In ABQ sob stories are more likely

Still here?

Why'd you move to Detroit?

Carrizozo represent

I used to live in Roswell for a bit, which (was) the most conservative part of New Mexico. New Mexico is fucked though, tweakers and immigrants are even ruining that part. Honestly the best hope is for Arizona and Texas to partition it up. Also fuck Gary Johnson for the immigrants and Bill Richardson

To be near my sister, she’s in residency and having a tough time at it. Most of our family is still in ABW

I used to go to Fort Lone Tree in Capitan

New Mexico is based AF, but all the shitskins ruin it.

t. Colorado

>Yes, I understand the irony of my comment .

>Both have panhandlers on all the freeway exits
That's most cities in the US. How are you coping with the weather and lack of mountains?

NM is based and rojapillado

Legit hot springs though and close to Elephant Butte too.
Also, suck muh dick, you giagantic faggot

My soul is drawn to Ruidoso and Cimarron, but politically, it’s a shithole.
t. Lived in Hobbs, and Cloudcroft.

Santa Fe is the second gayest, faggot loving, kike breading, herpes infested, communist holdouts in the US, Second to DC, San Fran, Denver, Boulder and that one gay town in AZ thats like Santa Fe.
Fuck you all

Lack of mountains is weird. Used to having it to orient me. I live right on the river so I get to laugh at Canada everyday, which is nice. Day of the Rake soon, inshallah.

I’m white af so I enjoy the cold quite a bit. Locals have publicly ragged on me for not wearing a jacket but I seem to be immune to the cold.

Is this your first winter up here?

My neighbor here is from San Diego, I always wonder how transplants from warmer areas cope with such a bleak landscape and shitty weather long term.

I know you're probably living in detroit because of the cheap rent but you should still look into ypsi. Rents a little higher but it's a much nicer area.

I always thought people were pretty weird there

ABQ has a super bleak landscape, minus the mountains. I love the cold, it’s in my blood. ABQ was all wrong for my biology. I’m a Norseman by blood.
Proximity to downtown. Shorter commute for very long hour job.

How much slower do things move in NM compared to here?

Seems pretty similar. Blacks are like less competent mestizos, so it’s almost more lackadaisical here.

Wouldn't have happened to have been in the military would you?

Hello from el paso!

Begone Texan

And if you're downtown I'm guessing you work at one of the casinos.

Beautiful land, ugly people

Except for that one chick who flashed the LeBeouf cam. Top tier tits.

imagine all the secret underground bases in NM
god I wish I could see them

Got pics?

It’s got a population of about 1 million so it’s pretty irrelevant

No you don't.

Yes I do.

No you don't. Everything about being stationed in new mexico sucks.

>I love the cold, it’s in my blood. ABQ was all wrong for my biology. I’m a Norseman by blood.
Not sure if your serious or memeing, but all of my ancestors are from northern Europe and I hate the cold. I think cold tolerance has more to do with your blood pressure rather than your genetic makeup.

Angel Fire mountain biking is life.
