Reminder that Northern Syria and possibly Iraq are getting closer and closer to being de facto annexed by Turkey, i would imagine Greeks are watching closely
>majority kurdish region And nothing of valu... >and fertile crescent >and hydroelectric power plant >and water Wew

I doubt Mosul would be relinquished easily by the Iraqi gov. but definitely the Kurd areas of Iraq would go without a problem. Northern Syria is already Turkish we are just waiting for the roaches to announce it.
Nathan Ortiz
>Kurd areas of Iraq would go without a problem Turks are already have outposts of Northern Iraq, but i dont think they control any major population areas yet

Putin said that rape and so on keep on three pillars - sex, drugs and protest. The most troubling thing about drugs is the path to the degradation of the nation. They like to do this somewhere over the hill - God helps you, let them do what they want. We must make sure that this does not happen.
Hudson Hughes
they would probably love to get Mosul and Aleppo but they wont get that far South anytime soon

>The report concludes that "existing national plans, response resources, and coordination strategies would be outmatched by a catastrophic power outage," adding, the "profound risk requires a new national focus."
winter is still coming. food + water + firewood + warm clothing/blankets + guns/ammo + medicine, etc.

The problem is those areas in Syria are a breadbasket and I don't like the ideas of the turks having more control of the Euphrates and Tigris than they already do GRRRRRRR.
Blake Evans
yeah im aware, Syrian agriculture, forest and water resource securities where a massive focus of government programs before the war, but with the territory lost things might be rough in the future
Clever maneuvers or when the US needs an eternal war in the region.
The US Senate approved a resolution in which the responsibility for the murder of journalist Jamal Hashoghi is placed on the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. The resolution calls on the Saudi authorities to “ensure proper accountability” in the case of the murder of Khashoggi. Senators also approved a resolution to end US support for Saudi Arabia in the military conflict in Yemen. The resolution on the Yemeni conflict calls on the president to withdraw all the US military forces involved in it, except for those who fight directly against radical Islamists.

BBC requires to prove the "intervention of Russia" in the protests in France
The editors of the BBC Russian Service demand from employees any evidence of "Russian intervention" in the protests of the "yellow vests" in France. About this employee BBC told in correspondence with one of the correspondents, who covers the action in Paris. So, the BBC journalist - tried to find out if Moscow has anything to do with the protests in the French capital. The correspondent explained to her that she had not seen a single Russian at the rallies. However, the BBC employee was not satisfied with this answer. "Or maybe some Russian business is boiling well now?" She asked. The correspondent just laughed in response. As the journalist explained the BBC, she needs to "find corners" to prove the intervention of Moscow, as the "editors require blood."
Part of it is probably because its easy to get good footage of a surprise ATGM hit compared to other types of combat footage, so they end up making a big portion of the video footage we have since footage like that is great propaganda

Secularism allows people who want to practice a religion, to practice their religion Theocracy does not allow people who do not want to practice any religion to not practice any religion .
Why are such groups even legal in Russia? Nothing would feel better than beating those retards to death.
Angel Clark
>call off an attack now though why? just because you want habbenin finally?
Brandon Wilson
>why? big media build up, announcements, and they've moved their forces into jump off positions the US might appease him to reduce the scale/scope of Turkish attack to just along narrow border or Manbij
Connor Wilson
There is a rumor that Putin finnanced the most retarded political groups (Neo-Nazis, Neo-Commies, Theocrats etc.) in order to get the public either to not vote or just vote for the least terrible option (his party)
Oliver Phillips
>the US might appease him to reduce the scale/scope of Turkish attack to just along narrow border or Manbij the area bordering turkey directly is far more interesting for Turkey. They might not like Manbij being in MMC kurd hands but they want their bufferzone by their border which they already got north of Manbij. They will attack along their border rather first before Manbij
Robert Morris
>the area bordering turkey directly is far more interesting for Turkey. I agree, but I'm certain an attack of some kind is locked in now even if it's fairly minor in terms of expanding turkish controlled areas it'll all depend though on what the mutts offer up or if they even offer anything up

>javelin No. Not a single Javelin has been sent to the "moderates" and even the TOWs are older generation 2As, with no top-attack capabilities. Top attacking missiles are too capable to be given to people who might as well turn them against you, never mind that their technical details are probably still classified.
Jose Cruz
>Top attacking missiles are too capable to be given to people who might as well turn them against you They gave them to ukraine and everyone knows the second fighting starts they will be captured

Ruptly youtube.com/watch?v=yciBNVMwGK0 At least four people were killed and 20 injured after a car bomb went off in Afrin's al-Hal market on Sunday, according to reports. Local media said that an explosives-laden vehicle was detonated in the busy vegetable market.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. Afrin is controlled by Turkish-backed militants that seized the area earlier this year in the Turkish-led 'Olive Branch' military operation against the People's Protection Units (YPG) Kurdish militants.

Russia pushing Turkey to attack Syrian Kurds: SDF commander
BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:45 P.M.) – Russia is one of the main instigators of the turmoil in northern Syria, as they are pushing Turkey to launch an attack east of the Euphrates, a commander from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) tweeted on Sunday, as reported by Kurdistan 24.
“Russia has frozen the campaign on Idlib because Turkey pledged to fight Kurds in Manbij and East of the Euphrates. Russia did it in Afrin and wants to repeat the scenario. Russia wants to benefit through many ways,” Polat Can, a senior commander of the SDF, tweeted on Sunday.
The SDF’s commander added that Russia is trying to punish the Syrian Kurdish because they “did not follow their orders.”
What is going on that requires such a concerted sliding effort?
