I have about 32k USD that I don't trust banks with, don't want to invest or give away. I thought about buying gold bars but that would be unhandy if i need to make a sudden escape(i might need to, considering how i got the 32ks)
Also i don't trust bitcoin bullshit so please don't tell me to buy that. here is everything is have thought about thus far: >Tech Tech is good and easy to carry in a bag but loses value overtime and might get broken and ruined. >Precious minerals I.e(gold, silver etc) Never loses value, but not very handy. Carry gold bars can be quite dangerous, and diamonds are a gamble seeing as their market is artificially created and could collapse at any time. >Land one of the most considered choice, but I'm always afraid some apocalypse happens or the goberment tries to take it away from me. >experiences I would rather kill my self than use my hard earned money on some Thai-whore, or some island trip. >tattos I considered this, but i am currently no lift, so I assume they would get ruined if ever i got jacked or fat. Not very useful either desu.
Well, you've covered the basics that I know of already. What I'd suggest maybe is to buy a couple of cheap rental houses and convert the cash into a small salary.
The money is essentially gone at that point, but at least it's converted into cashflow.
Unfortunately, 32k isn't a lot to work with.
Alexander Morales
I agree gold/silver would be the best safekeep but the government outlawed purchasing gold bars decades ago.
Be wary of who may be willing to sell you it.
Carson Nguyen
Property and land is the best choice but you are making serious mistakes in your understanding of finances. Everything you mentioned is an "investment" with pros and cons. Tech: very useful, terrible longterm returns. A car could work. Precious minerals: very useless, tends to be static, hard to sell full price. Land: can be useful, can have very high returns, if government takes back, they usually compensate you for it so if you want $$ only, then it's a good deal. Experiences: what else are you gonna do with 32k? Tattoos... for what???
Daniel Price
That's the exact issue mane. Its too big of a sum to not mind losing, but its way to small to actually start a cash flow. not to mention i live in a Nordic country so there is absolutely 0 ways i can buy any thing that is rent-able with this money. It would have to be in bumfuck nowhere and probably even then i would have to break my back working to make it rent-able. At any rate a cash flow would only force me to do something with the new fucking money.
Arre you legit retarded? Why in god fuckin damn is tattoos on the list?!
Easton Gutierrez
I'd buy in the US then. Google "Lisa Phillips" she's a real estate investor that has done really well in the sub-50 market. You could probably pick up 2 or 3 rentals for that cash if you can get someone like her to help you.
Jaxon Nguyen
In very small amounts sure, the global kabal is switching to a digital currency within the next decade remember. Soon minerals, cash and other means of untracked trade will be forbidden.
May I suggest purchasing "modern art"? its the easiest way to launder and hoard vast amounts of wealth.
Gabriel Hall
>switching to a digitial currency >artificial created value >no real life rarity Wtf you on about ?
Christian Jenkins
its not really, i was just thinking that if i had to absolutely spend that money on experiences, i would rather get tattoos. Are there no policies against foreigners buying Us lands? surely you have to be a citizen to hold land. Also i don't want to get shot or anything so i want to avoid the Us. But if an apocalypse happens or the Russians decide to invade us then my land will be worth nothing.
Jacob Stewart
No restrictions that I know of, but you would want to check that out beforehand. I own a lot of RE and I'm not a citizen.
>Also i don't want to get shot or anything so i want to avoid the Us. I didn't say you had to live here, it's just a place to dump your cash.
David Perry
You are incredibly fucking stupid and I wonder how someone this unimaginably dumb ended up with 32k.
Sebastian Hill
You can give it to the homeless?
Anthony Howard
M8 the worlds been pushing out physical notes as of late and the US dollar has been artificially pumped forever. Sweden, China and the EU are heavily pushing for cashless societies to control what people can trade with. Banning gold, cash and competing crypto will be coming soon.
>But if an apocalypse happens nigger your rare coins aren't gonna be worth shit in an apocalypse, in those times things of use that are scarce have the most value. Such as.. guns and bullets! theres something for you to invest in.
Jason Stewart
I'll take gladly take that burden off your hands goy- err op. Don't worry I'll take good care of it
Op here, i might not be the sharpest brick out there, but at least im not an antisemite. THIS. what the fuck do i do if my rare minerals get banned? or if the goberment decides to compensate me 1/200th for my land? The homeless here are only homeless because they refuse to fit into society, mostly gypsies and such. All other poor people are taken very well care of and are neither hungry nor truly homeless. I don't know what crawled up your ass, but you could always explain why you think I'm stupid. I like my job and am very low maintenance so i ended up with a lot of savings, which is invested in some shady albeit not completely illegal ways.
its like I said, pick something people will always need nomatter how harsh times are. Guns are the simplest solution, buy a rural plot of land with a natural water deposit and protect it.
David Hall
Become a doomsday prepper. Based on your posts, you are one anyway.
Oliver Smith
I think this is the best option, In-fact i have been thinking about buying land on Iceland or Greenland. the chances of an apocalypse reaching there or them getting invaded is slim to none. The winters can be very tough though so I might need to do some research before i start building and buying.
Im less sure about the gun situation. I know close to nothing about guns, and those assholes over at k are absolutely useless. they just throw gun-jargon at you.
You should just go ahead and kill yourself now because you are clearly far too stupid to survive any sort of apocalyptic event.
Evan Bailey
In case anyone with Icelandic background comes around - do you understand mainland Scandinavians? Do you take well to foreigners who buy your lands? and also what are the gun policies where you are? I know you dont have a real army, so you surely must have some sort of home defense(heimavern) system?
Adam Parker
Icelanders hate foreigners, the entire culture of that country is to escape foreign poison.
Brayden Bailey
With that amount of money I would just spend them on stuff maybe on devices like you've said and maybe on expensive fancy restaurants, you can start increasing your money by buying housing and rent then or from bitcoin
Colton Jackson
Iceland’s volcanos and the melting ice at the South Pole could in time devalue your investment.
Carter Richardson
What's wrong with keeping it in cash?
Parker King
Inflation is at 3% and also it would be useless anywhere outside of norway, if i were to convert it to USD then i would lose something like 500 usd in the exchange. not to mention its a big amount of cash to drag around. Can't leave it around because I might get robbed and give it to banks because i don't trust them.
>How to get rid of money? I'll take it off your hands if you want
Henry Lopez
Invest in yourself maybe. Depending on how old you are, just live off the money and get a higher /more useful degree than you already have.
Or just bribe your way into some company or some shit
Julian Diaz
You didn't even read my post did you?
har har hardy dey
This might be an idea, although to be frank i already make enough to do that anyway, and the amount isn't nearly enough to live off off for more than a year.
>Actually considers tattoos >Worried about tech losing value when tattoos have 0 resale value
How is gold not handy for an escape? Its just some gold you put in a bag. 32k worth of gold is like 2 pounds
Nolan Brooks
trust me the bank doesn't care about your 32k
Joshua Ortiz
boron. only going up. without boron you cant make lithium battery. buy as much boron as you can. sell when petrol cars are no longer built. for short term investment go to palladium. used in car emissions system. rapidly increasing in rarity and no known substitute.
Connor Thompson
>diamonds are a bubble youre retarded friend gems and precious metals have been valuable for thousands of years.
Carter Ross
Studies show over the long term equity securities have the best return. Put it in an ETF that represents a broad swath of the market. Some would say put 25-75% in 5 year corporate bonds AAA rated.
Tyler Green
That was the plot of an old Twilight Zone. Watch it before you buy.
you can't house gold or silver bars because you might make an escape, yet owning land is on the table?
Gabriel Phillips
also you can put gold or silver bars in a rented vault facility.
Justin Wood
If you got it illegally, familiarize yourself with anti-money laundering laws and practices in your country; otherwise you might quickly lose it (considering you live in a Nordic country, trying to buy gold for $32k in cash would likely get you arrested).
Isaac Flores
Yea I know the one but if you are going to not take that risk absolutely everything is too risky
Zachary Hernandez
you know who launders money? people who are guilty of committing crimes. *head taps*
Noah Ross
OK friendo, go buy a diamond at Zales then walk it into a pawnshop and sell it... come back and tell us how you did...
Jordan Parker
i said buy them off craigslist and you have to be stupid to pawn expensive shit
