It’s always “muh bootstraps” when it comes to us but our grandparents handed our parents life on a silver fucking platter. My grandpa was a world war 2 vet and my dad was a Vietnam war protestor. WTF is wrong with you! I love my parents and do not begrudge them their comfortable life in a gated Florida community for retirees. They live very comfortably in a nice safe community. I do not want or expect one penny from them. I am eternally thankful for their parentage of me and enjoy the times I get to spend with them.
