Yeah, I liked it out there.
Loved working in Bay Ridge, though. We'd do camera jobs at Irish and Italian houses a lot; micks were generous with tips, and guidos would feed us all kinds of stuff. The best mozzarella I've ever had to this day was given to me by an Italian customer, whole ball of the stuff. Sat on the subway and ate it like a meal.

This. I've never been to Brooklyn, but I've been to a few so-called "authentic Italian-owned" pizzerias in both the Bronx and Manhattan and I honestly think I can make better pizza at home.
