The mainstream media only ever talks aboput "far right groups" and well i doubt russian media is unbiased either so it is hard to know what is happening. who are the main rebel groups against russia? Who are the seperatists and where are they coming from? Are there any robinhood groups or anything worth supporting?

>Also what they mean by this wsj.com/amp/articles/ukraine-creates-a-church-without-putin-11544897603 Ukrainian Orthodox church became independent from Russian Orthodox church. Before Ukrainian church was under the control of Moscow Patriarch. In the past Russian church would send priests to Ukraine. Those priests would tell the people to pray for Russia. In some cases the churchgoer would have their sons in the military fighting pro-Russian separatists and the Russian priests would give pro-Russian sermons. In some cases people had to literally kick the Russian priests out of churches. >What do you think will happen in the end? Probably something like Transdniestrian scenario mixed with nagorno karabakh for seperatist controlled areas. Nobody except Russia recognizes their legitimacy. Their passports will be useless and they will be dependent on Russia to survive. Also occasional skirmishes. >ill ukraine just get annexed? No. Sooner or later there will be a new recession in USA, it will drag down the whole world. Russian citizen will be more worried about their well being rather than some shitty little war. There's a chance that Russian gov will become more liberal and uninterested in war.

>who are the main rebel groups against russia? Ukrainian army, western advisers and puppet-masters AND various oligarch-sponsored formations such as Azov
>Who are the seperatists and where are they coming from? Many are locals (Ukraine has millions of ethnic Russians) and just as many antive Russian-speaking Ukrainians that are against the current government. Then there are people from Russia either Chechnya veterans or even from active military who after incidents like the Odessa massacre, Ukrainians bombing cities with airplanes, etc., wanted to take action. Russia of course facilitated it and provided various help, intel and training (though no use of modern Russian military).

Quick Rundown of the past 5 years
CIA starts a revolution in Ukraine, a Russian ally. This involves the creation of “far right” groups like Azov Battalion, funded by Israel and EU, sniper false flags and misinformation campaigns. In the end the Ukrainian President Yanukovych goes into exile in Russia. The new government is declared illegitemate by about a third of UN member states, and there are mass demonstrations against this takeover throughout Ukraine, especially in the East.
Russia tries to salvage what it can from the situation and occupies Crimea, then annexes it through a referendum.
Back in Ukraine proper, the demonstrations become open conflict. Ethnic Russian militants, fearing the withdrawal of their rights and looting by the paramilitaries (something that did happen later on), started seizing territory in the Donbass region, which is made up of two provinces, Luhansk and Donetsk. After properly beating the shit out of the Ukrainian Army, they created two “people’s Republics”, which aren’t communist but have a lot of Soviet aesthetic.
Since Minsk II ceasefire, the front is stabilised although with daily incidents. The rebels are conflicted with what they want. Some want to join Russia, some want an autonomous status in Ukraine and others want independence. Russia is accused of deploying troops into Donabass, and while there isn’t any direct evidence of this being true, they probably do finance and supply the rebels along with advisors.
To answer your questions:
>who are the main rebels? Armed Forces of Donetsk and Armed Forces of Lughansk, along with smaller militias, volunteers and mercenaries
>who are the separatists? Ethnic Russians mainly although with some Ukrainians among them
>anything worth supporting? No one at the present
>what they mean by this Government trying to distance Ukrainians from Russians by splitting the church

A bunch of brainwashed skinheads are serving the interest of US and Israel stirring shit up with russia so that the west can export its economic crisis via economic agression and such.
Basically the west cant compete anymore, so they have to destroy any sort of economic opposition abroad.

USA and EU arrange coup to get Ukraine, Russia goes nope.jpg and takes Crimea for strategic purposes and supports civil war in the east to keep Ukraine from going west
