I left Alberta when the oil dried up but I have a lot of experience there. I migrated there from the Maritimes as we do, but found my Canadian spiritual home there. The nickname North Texas could not be more true. Albertans are conservative, hard working rednecks who know how to live. That province alone is the backbone of the Canadian economy and unlike Quebec it really could make it on it's own.
