Do you really think women are happier now than they were back in the 60's? Men are unhappy now because we're stuck seeking the attention of self absorbed cunts who would be happier with a husband and kids to look after.

It's because people are slaves to their jobs, to money and material things, it's because we aren't working for the bare necessities like when everyone was farmers, it demasculinizing because you have to rely on overs to make everything for you. We are encouraged to be consumers rather than producers.

Also the repressions of natural loving things like wrestling and play fighting with kids or anyone for that matter, in general, there's just no release for the inner child within all of us.

For advice on how to make it beer, I'd say try to get a job based around the growth of food, our instincts are wired to see that as a reward while an office job our instincts do not value. Or be a beggar/hermit but hopefully voluntarily like Diogenes or a monk.

Taking up a martial art would probably be good too for that release of childlike energy, I used to do it but stopped, I should probably pick it up again.

Literally I'm a single day away from being 30 days jobless. And I've applied and have done follow up calls and nobody is hiring.

If I work full time I need 13$/hr. If I work part-time I need 10/hr + no more than 35 hours a week so I can work side gigs.

But guess what. I can work full time 9.50 expecting to offer customer service to people who don't deserve it, acting like I get paid 20/hr to do it!

Modern life wants us to be disconnected consumers. We are gently pushed away from anything which connects us to our human instincts which aren't compatible with the needs of business and those which are supported are coopted to service business. Our power is in family, community and being self sufficient. Economic interest wants us isolated, a world citizen and dependent. It is weird, our instinct is to provide and support each other, work as a team and to gain satisfaction from each of us fulfilling a purpose and helping another to fulfil their purpose, but we want things to be fair, so we have a transactional nature and a fear that others are taking advantage of the team. So we have money which is used to exploit and control us.

I'm not sure what is going on with identity politics and feminism at the moment, but part of me sees it as further efforts to destabilise communities and push a new world order agenda. So much is utopian, but denies reality.

I don't want to be a world citizen free to sell my labour to the highest bidder across the entire world to meet my needs. I need to feel a connection to my community and to my locality. I don't want to buy things off a faceless website designed to mimic human social interaction, I want to talk to the guy who works the counter and learn about his family, there is human value in this connection, more than the product itself can provide at times.

Without these networks and connections the world feels scary and lonely because your ass would have been toast back in the day without them. It still is if you think in the end corporations and politicians have your best interest at heart.

I agree and I would add to it that I think feminism and the identity politics are red herrings to cause division so that people are too caught up seeing evil in each other that they miss the evil of the system and for that matter in ourselves.

The money has no value without a connection to other humans. By itself it cannot do anything for you, it requires other people to work. The value of it is defined entirely by what it can get you. Your perception of how rich or poor you are is based on your surroundings and position within social groups. You get the item sure, but why do you even want or need the item if you are without connections? What do you even want the item for without connections? Don't assume the connections made online and through organisations are benign and won't be used to manipulate you into being a greater consumer. Cheap, but at what cost?

You might ask what is the point in playing a sport if you aren't any good at it? People play sports in local teams because they want to be part of something and they want to compete. Good luck competing as a global citizen, it is enough to make you give up. People do it because they gain a great deal from interacting with others.

If I'm a company I need you to work to buy my goods and services. That is all I care about. I need to buy things, but I feel better when I buy them from a person who is part of my world.

Stay small? You'll get big? What the hell is big anyway? What is small? There is an entire world around me even within the local area, more than I could ever know in my lifetime if I pay attention.

People sell the idea that you need to always be moving somewhere else or seeing something new or experiencing something or life is somehow denied to you, you are missing out, the clock is ticking. It is just using your fear of death, irrelevance and ageing to get you to spend money.

I'd like to say I'm not against any motivation except negative ones. If you want to travel great, but not if you do so because you are afraid of appearing boring.

Technology in general has disconnected us from one another in a really staggering way. No one really communicates anymore or wants to make connections. Conflict is looked at as weak and meaningless and not something that sometimes is neccesary. A lot of men just sit at home on their computers all day when not going to school or maybe going to work for some random company, and that's it. Men deny their instincts to want to go chop down tree's, till a field, build a house, something they can be proud of. We aren't allowed to be champions of our lives like we used to. Women can do modern 'men' jobs but that's because they're so fucking easy when you really think about it. Women could NOT do men's jobs even 50 years ago with any relative success. Everything is disconnected now. Even businesses. Hardly any mom and pops. We're actively trying to destroy history and where we came from. Nearly every problem on this board is that people just won't leave their house lol. But honestly I'm part of that problem too. But we have to toughen up and not worry so much. Just no one has friends anymore. And I think a large part of why we can't lead normal and natural lives is because we can't talk about sin. We live in pagan satanic societies, we've abandoned all decency and live as animals. Not just America but the whole world. And look this isn't anything new but technology has also glorified these animalistic instincts through pornography so readily available through the Internet. Glorify drug use. When I was a kid you couldn't wank it unless you stole a hustler from a 7-11 or your dad's drawer, and then look at it in the woods and then throw it away so you weren't caught. I maybe jacked off like a dozen times from 12-18 just because you didn't have the means to. Now kids have laptops and smartphones at age 9-10 and are told how great and 'natural' porn is when it isn't. Kids at the park who are 10 and 11 y/o are making jokes about Bang Bros. like wth?

At the same time we shouldn't despair. Yeah social media has disconnected everyone from the real world and everyone called its bluff. But just don't have social media and go be joyful in the real world.

People in general are in a shitty spot. Society is. If you want change to happen, do your best to make it happen. Speak out for people who need help with mental illnesses or other issues, create places for people to hang out with their peers where they feel welcome, do your best to be a kind and friendly person to other people. If everyone on Jow Forums did that, or tried their best to do so the world would be a better place for those with depression and other issues.

No, I just recognize that money allows me to live a good stable life in modern society. Money might not buy happiness but it sure comes close.

As a young man, you have the lowest value in society and you recognize it yourself.
So the way I see it, it becomes a life-long struggle to get out of that spot but many men just can't take the pressure and the few that become successful, well, they get to enjoy life, but this makes the cycle repeat itself when these successful men take from everyone else.
I'll try a few more years (depending on if my situation gets better) before killing myself.

My parents divorced when I was young, my mom made around 60k a year and incurred a large amount of debt via credit cards and home mortgages in order to make ends meet.
