There's a lot of women out there who also want casual sex (with the right person, under the right circumstances). A lot of guys tend to think women judge them like a machine, where your instant wit and looks and deep voice score or miss points. But women are generally taught to be dismissive towards men's attempts to get with them and a great part of seduction is ability to disarm, to show yourself to be approachable and light-hearted and casual. Think of it like this: imagine a girl you're not super into asks you out. Now if she said you were cool and would you like to grab drinks, you might say yes if you're looking or horny or curious. If she makes a big deal out of how much she's liked you for the past months and if you'd like to have dinner with her... probably not, because then it's no longer a fun opportunity but something that feels heavy, an emotional minefield.

Guys who are good with women often have this sort of looseness, they are able to give attention and flirt a little without outright presenting themselves as a ready suitor. This is a matter of confidence and people skills, often these are the same kind of people who'd easily chat with a stranger. They balance showing interest with doing their own thing, often don't lock down on one girl but make sure to have fun. Every girl likes to hang around the guy who is enjoying himself and laughing. This is easiest at smaller parties.

Also, the men I've known who were the most persistently successful with women were not afraid to (low effort) pursue someone again and again. There's always a portion of women who are indecisive or meek or whatever who can roll with a guy if he keeps inserting himself in her life.

They just go for it. The only real difference between you and them is that they actually put effort into pursuing and then dating/doing girls. Like, not only they prepare the conditions for it to be possible, but they make it happen. They ask girls out, probably get rejected a lot, probably are on a few girls at a time.

It's not necessarily a good thing though, and it's not necessarily what you want.

I'm not saying that the girls I hooked up with were ugly or crazy or fat, but they were just as attractive and stable and charismatic as me.
