What ever happened to him? Nothing, I suppose.

He did literally nothing wrong

Killed some degenerate druggie who was shooting up a hotel room

The weak should fear the strong

Attached: hyz6m.jpg (242x251, 43K)

he actually did nothing wrong. the lunatic screaming the insane impossible commands was the problem, and he wasn't charged with anything. I believe he resigned and ran away to the phillipines.

They were both shit. Philip Brailsford wanted to get a kill, and had etched into his Ar-15 "You're Fucked". This was on the gun that shot Daniel Shaver. He was a hot head wanna be tough guy, who had previously been disciplined for body slamming a teenager. Sgt. Charles Langley, the officer who was barking commands in the video also had in the past been disciplined. And during the investigation into Shaver's death the cops who had been involved had left out key details, about Shaver crying and begging for his life, showing consciousness of guilt, that the officers involved were trying to cover their ass, for going in over aggressive and killing an innocent man. Langley quietly retired 4 months after the shooting, and at trial he covered Brailsford's ass, testifying that he too was going to shoot and kill Shaver, and that Shaver deserved to die for moving his arm a little too far up, failing his game of Simon Says. Langley then moved to the Philippines.

Yes, the Senior officer really should have taken some responsibility. This guy was a rookie in over his head

>you're fucked user

There was no drugs, Daniel Shaver was there on a business trip, and was drinking Bicardi with two people in his room. He showed them a pellet gun he used as part of his job as an exterminator, and a couple in a hot tub saw him through the window and reported the incident. The hotel then said to the police that they thought maybe someone was doing an illegal gun buy at the hotel.

After the police shot the guy, they found out he was innocent and did nothing wrong. Only dumb niggers will argue otherwise.

>Philip Brailsford wanted to get a kill, and had etched into his Ar-15 "You're Fucked".

the guy reached for his shorts because they were coming down. Brailsford was trained to shoot if a guy reaches for anything. Brailsford did not "want to get a kill". He did exactly what he was trained to do.

The idiot screamer was 100% the issue. If he had said "lie down, put hands behind head, don't move" it would have ended peacefully. Who the fuck can crawl with their legs crossed and their hands in the air?

You changed the witness statment to make him look more inncocent though.

It was a full size scoped pellet rifle, and he had been pointing it outside the hotel window according to witnesses.

So it's no wonder he could have been mistaken for a possible threat.

>the guy reached for his shorts because they were coming down.

All conjecture. His arm just moved up a little bit more than the other, and Brailsford admitted he immediately pulled the trigger 5 consecutive times pump 5 rounds into him for doing it.

>Brailsford did not "want to get a kill".
Oh, he had the "Your fucked" phrased carved on his gun for no reason? He was a tough guy rookie who was excited to get a kill, who had gotten in trouble for body slamming a teenager.

The court wouldn't even let the prosecution bring in the "Your fucked" carving, because it was too prejudicial, despite showing his mind set.

>He did exactly what he was trained to do.
I guess it's nobdoy's fault then. When you run over someone with a car by accident, it's nobody's fault. Whoops! Nobody should face repercussions, Brailsford was just Johnny on the spot!

>The idiot screamer was 100% the issue.
Yet none of the other cops opened fire. Isn't that telling? I wonder why?

> pointing it outside
It was never pointed out the window. News stories say they saw his shadow through the window. You're being intentionally a nigger.

Family dinners must be awkward for him now.

At least someone's cashing in:

The controversial verdict that cleared a former Mesa police officer of murder in a dramatic shooting captured by a body cam spared Philip “Mitch” Brailsford from a potential prison sentence, but the case is far from over for Mesa taxpayers.

Mesa still faces millions of dollars in potential liability in a federal wrongful death lawsuit filed by Laney Sweet, the widow of Daniel Shaver, 26, a Texas pest control worker who was seen in the disturbing video begging for his life as he crawled in the hallway of an East Mesa hotel on Jan. 18, 2016.

Sweet is seeking damages of more than $100 million.

Brailsford, 27, shot the unarmed father of two, after Shaver appeared to reach behind his back. Lawyers for Sweet say Shaver was trying to pull up his loose-fitting gym shorts, but Brailsford and former Sgt. Charles Langley said they feared he might have been reaching for a gun.

The city fired Brailsford a couple of weeks after the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office took the unusual step of charging him with second-degree murder and negligent manslaughter. A jury found him not guilty of both crimes in early December, after Brailsford’s defense attorney argued he was following his training.

Brailsford’s termination notice cites violations of the Mesa police code of conduct and conduct unbecoming an officer. The code violations listed include getting arrested or indicted for any criminal offense; and using vulgar, obscene or profane language either directly or indirectly toward the public.

Reminder that the drunk retard shouldn't have reached for his waist multiple times.
>b-but he was wearing basketball shorts and was distraught and crying!
Maybe junkies shouldn't wave guns around then cry when other men with guns show up?
>t-the orders were impossible!
No.

OPEN THE DOOR

Fuck off shill. The official position on cops, just like abortion, is and always will be "what race is it."
No amount of anti-cop spam will make us support nigger birthrates.

Man this hurts to watch. How can you defend this shit? "Crawl towards me" with your legs crossed and hands in the air? Just tell him to lie down on the ground, walk towards him and put cuffs on him. The guy was crying and completely docile, for fucks sake.

>you're fucked

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU"
"I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU"
jeez, nice 'police' force

>Just tell him to lie down on the ground, walk towards him and put cuffs on him
They don't know if there is an additional threat in the hotel room or not.

>multiple times.
He doesn't even reach for his waist except maybe the time he gets shot, and even then it's completely unknown since he was shot and killed as his arm was moving mid way, to where you can only see one shoulder go up a tiny bit more.

>Maybe junkies shouldn't wave guns around then cry when other men with guns show up?
He wasn't a junkie, and wasn't on drugs.

Why do you go on the internet and act like a nigger? What does it do for you other than make other people think you act like a low IQ coon?

>Maybe junkies shouldn't wave guns
He didn't he showed two people a pellet gun he had with him as part of his job in the room for a business trip. Someone saw him through the window from a hot tub, and he never had the pellet gun out when the police showed up..

Again, what does this serve except to make you look like an ape? You know nothing about the Daniel Shaver case, yet make shit up.

Then their threat assessment skills are extremely deficient.

>Oh, he had the "Your fucked" phrased carved on his gun for no reason?
Yes. I'm not calling anyone who was in that situation smart, this was telltale lack of foresight, but they didn't legally do anything wrong.

Careful with that meme, it's an antique.

Not reading the rest of your post, you're clearly retarded.

Easy for you to say after the fact. Do you have x-ray vision to see through walls and clear rooms without entering them?

I love this excuse
They cared so much about the threat behind the door, that they opened themselves up to being shot through the door when they approached it and acted like retards.
The excuse you're making is an afterthought, not the real reason.

Maybe it's due to your poor grasp of English that you just made yourself look like a fool. Try reading the conversation again.

what they did WAS NOT and NEVER WILL BE standard procedure
especially when they were threatening to kill him and he was begging for his life, should have just ignored the dumb mutt cop screaming at him and continued lying down
the threat behind the door excuse is pathetic

I'm an anarchist. Facts don't care about your feelings, you sweaty fat teenagers.
>what they did WAS NOT and NEVER WILL BE standard procedure
You're wrong, that's okay.

once you make sure everyone is on the ground it's your job as a cop to secure the are and the people under your control
>crawl towards me with your hands playing rock paper scissors with eachother
will never be a rational way to move someone you're holding hostage anywhere
a simple hands behind your head, walk backwards towards me would have sufficed
but the power tripping cop wanted him to crawl and repeatedly mentioned his eagerness to kill him
you're an """anarchist""" a.k.a. retard supreme, and I'm glad you've outed yourself as such, because know I know you're not even worth convincing of how wrong you are about this whole thing

And everytime some burger bootlickers will pretend that burger law enforcement isnt some incompetent international embaressment

>but they didn't legally do anything wrong.
Dude, if someone employee at Target, cashing out a customer shot the customer 5 times, because the customer moved his arm slightly in a way that set off the employee like a pitbull mauling a child because somebody got up too quick, that employee would be expected to face some kind of repercussions. We wouldn't argue that the Target employee wasn't responsible, or deserved a second chance. He fucked up at his job, and because of it and innocent man died. Someone has to be considered at fault, just like in a car accident. If I killed someone in a car accident, perhaps running over a pedestrian on accident, I'd be responsible. I orphaned that man's children and widowed his wife, and I was the one driving the car that killed the man. And just the same Brailsford was the one who fired his AR-15, the only guy to do it. None of the other cops apparently felt the need or were spooked by it. The Mesa Police are arguing to this day, that Daniel Shaver was at fault for moving his arm a little too high, and that meant he deserved to die. It doesn't matter the officers escalated the situation. It doesn't matter that the officers incorrectly handled the situation with contradictory orders. It doesn't matter that Sgt. Langley, the officer in charge specifically said he was going to kill Shaver.

However. If the police weren't at fault, they would not have:

-Made 5 police reports omitting that Shaver cried and begged for his life, only found in the bodycam footage.
-Fired Brailsford, apparently considering him a hot headed rookie who murdered a man.
-Sgt. Langley retiring a few months later and moving out of the country.
-Officers going out of their way to testify at trial that they would have shot Shaver too, yet didn't...

It all goes to consciousness of guilt. The Mesa police knew they fucked up and in every instance covered their ass and blamed Shaver for moving his arm.

>Not reading

Isn’t that a sign of sociopathy?

Hell if if got enough traction Duterte could possibly be convinced to do it personally.

Statement from during the trial in which Homicide Detectives stated that the Mesa, Arizona police were deliberately hiding the fact that Shaver had sobbed and begged for his life, in five different police reports, showing consciousness of guilt. Meaning they knew their officers were at fault..

>Five police officers. Five police reports. Five police narratives. And not one mention of the victim begging for his life.

>In fact, one police officer investigating the shooting testified that he found this suspicious, according to the Arizona Republic.

>On Wednesday, Mesa homicide Detective Paul Sipe gave testimony that appeared to be damaging to Brailsford’s defense.

>When a Mesa police officer shoots a person, the department investigates its own officer and forwards the investigation to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, which then decides if the officer should be charged with a crime.

>In this case, Sipe led the investigation into Brailsford’s decision to shoot. Brailsford was charged by the County Attorney’s Office in March 2016.

>Sipe told the jury on Wednesday that he became suspicious of the officers’ reports when he noticed they omitted “vital information.” Sipe didn’t specify what he was talking about and Deputy County Attorney Susie Charbel didn’t ask him to be specific.

>But throughout the trial, Charbel has noted that of the five written reports from the officers on the scene, they left out that Shaver had cried and begged not to be shot. That information became public in Sipe’s supplemental report released two months after the shooting.

>The judge instructed the jury to strike Sipe’s remark that he found the omission suspicious when the defense attorney objected. But Sipe essentially gave the same answer when the prosecutor asked him the same question.

Jow Forums Phillipinos, make it happen.

That video made ISIS look humane.

Sgt. Langley testifying to save Brailsford's ass, saying he was going to shoot Shaver also.

>Langley told the 11-member jury Tuesday that he would have shot Shaver if Brailsford wasn’t in his line of fire.

>“I thought we were going to get shot,” Langley said. “I thought I was going to get shot.”

>Langley said because Shaver put his hand down twice and once behind his back, he thought Shaver may have been reaching for a gun.

>Officers later found that Shaver was unarmed when he was shot but had a pellet gun inside his room that he kept with him as part of his job as a pest-control worker for his father-in-law's Texas-based company.

>Footage of the shooting captured on two police officers' on-body cameras shows that Langley had yelled at Shaver to put his hands up after he came out of his room.

>“For him to be safe, for us to be safe, there was one simple rule and that was to keep his hands in the air,” Langley said.

>At one point in the video, Shaver puts his hands down and behind his back. Langley, who was in charge and the only one yelling out commands, quickly orders him to put them back in the air or else he would be shot, the video shows.

>Brailsford fired his AR-15 rifle when Shaver raised his right hand after he had crawled on his hands and knees, the video shows.

>Langley testified that he didn't know why Shaver seemed confused by his commands, especially when he had given similar commands to Monique Portillo, a woman Shaver met that night and had been in the room with him.

>“That definitely raised my attention level. My flags just went up," Langley said of the time Shaver put his hands behind his back. "Was he checking for a weapon? Was he testing us? There was no reason for him to make that movement.”

Attached: Daniel-Shaver-and-Mitch-Brailsford.jpg (957x527, 98K)

>Earlier Tuesday, Mesa police Detective Paul Sipe, who investigated the shooting, testified about his reaction to the body-camera video and Mesa police training.

>He told the jury he first saw the video on the night of the shooting, along with another police detective and a representative of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office.

>"I was shocked by it," Sipe said when Deputy County Attorney Susie Charbel asked about his reaction to the video.

>As far as the training, Sipe testified that when a suspect has a gun in his or her hand without making a threatening gesture, that is not enough for an officer to fire his or her weapon.

And legs crossed, don't forget that.

okay who is acting like a nigger now, you're comparing a random employee murdering someone to cops apprehending a criminal

whatever dude, that's just protocol and even civilians know it

what we have here:
drunk people, police thinking guns are there
i have a different feeling watching this video
i tend to empathize with the victim - hearing him crying and begging and feared
but when i empathize with the cop i feel
-stress -he is also feared

i saw many videos were victims, even at gun point, were able to draw a gun in a matter of 0,5 seconds and was able to shot someone

that guy in the video who was shot was no able to follow such easy instructions - grabbing BEHIND his back MULTIPLE times... actually i was suprised he was not SHOT at the FIRST TIME grabbing behind his back

moral of story: dont drink alcohol and you may see your children grow

So, if a cop fucks up at his job, and kills an innocent person, they get a mulligan? Nothing shoudl happen? If Brailsford did nothing wrong, he wouldn't have been fired for the shooting. It was his gun, it was his job, and his responsibility to protect the innocent. He fired his gun unprovoked, and other officers didn't fire, it was just him, and only him that fired. And this was in a hotel hallway with guests in the hotel. A stray bullet from an Ar-15 could have killed innocent people, yet Brailsford opened fire 5 times.

none of what happened had anything to do with any protocol, everyone knows it but the idiots
hell, even the fucking cops know it, considering many cops said that they didn't agree with how the situation was handled, just admit the truth, fucker was itching for a killing
or worse, he was scared shitless to be in a real operation, so scared that he escalated the situation and got an innocent man killed
take your fucking pick, but don't fall back on non existent protocols about ordering someone to lie down then get up then crawl while doing a bunch of other shit then magdumping point blank at an obviously unarmed man

Is this asshole in hiding? I heard that the other one who was giving the retarded directions quit and fled to the Philippines. If they had done that to one of my relatives, I wonder what I would do?

That's not crawling though.

No, that's Officer Brailsford, the one who shot Daniel Shaver. Sgt. Langley, the one on the tape barking orders saying he's going to kill Shaver is the one who is in hiding. He's this guy
