I have a gf

I have a gf.

Here's some advice: don't bother, it's not worth it.

i don't care, i still want a gf

Alternate option, really get to know them before hand.

But you have to get one in order to get a wife and you have to get a wife so you can have kids and you have to have kids so you can play with lego again.
I really want to play with lego.

Just buy lego.

Maybe. But I still want kids for some reason.

That's biological programming that will eventually fade.

Get a dog.

Don't want a dog, I want a kid so I can play with lego.
What is so hard to understand?

Switch the order? Get lego now and work on getting a kid later

You don't seem to realize how urgent it is.
It takes years to get a girlfriend, then you need to spend a lot of time with one to find out if she is just pretending to be decent. And if I don't make it happen soon, women my age won't be able to have children.
I am running out of time, wasting my life eating things I don't like, doing things I don't care about because all women seem to hate me for some reason.

The reason is obvious. You don't fit their standards and, in their eyes, you're only alive to be compared to them.

You forgot to buy lego you dumbass!

Did you ever try looking for potential prospects at a lego store?

this

That's the problem.
If you get to know them for too long you only end up being "friends"
The only way to get a gf is to get them when you don't know too much about them. It's a fucking gamble.

>If you get to know them for too long you only end up being "friends"
bullshit
i guess you also believe that "getting friendzoned" is a thing.

I've had a girlfriend I've known for just about ten years. We started dating, stopped and then picked it up again.
It's been seven years since we started.

Now, I have a best friend, sexual companion, constant listener, someone always by my side and someone who will always be my player two, or to whom I can always be player two. My life is enriched with a constant different point of view, I have the luxury of benefitting from a female point of view, and when I'm downtrodden she's there to care for me and pick me up.

I haven't done a lot with my life but having her here, even if she dumped me tomorrow, it's all worth it. The time we've spent and the memories we've made have long justified any expenditure of my time, and her constant companionship has made my life so much more bearable and digestible. Without her, I might be in a much different (not necessarily better or worse really) place, and I don't know if or what I would have accomplished, compared to who I am here and now.

Nobody, and nothing on this planet ever can, or ever will replace her. If I end up single, I will stay that way to take a different hold of my life but right now, she and I are happy to fight for one another.

There's been nothing more worth my effort in my life.

It kinda is. That's how I got my gf. The only other competition was a friend she had. Some guy she had known for years, apparently he was infuriated with her from the start. I came in after 2 months of talking and started dating. He then thought that now that she was dating telling her how he felt was a good idea. She shot him down, pretty much saying there was a point when she likes him like that but now he was more like a brother to her. The guy didn't take too well and started acting out whenever she was around. He saw me with her when she took me to their hang out open and I was just being friendly. He started to implode and left. Later he tried the whole "its either him or me" thing. He was acting like they were a couple.
Haven't seen him since.

It does happen. At some point the friendship between two people gains value to the point that you rather not risk it.
Is it possible to make someone your gf after being friends for long time? Yeah, of course. Though it might be easier to get a gf when you're still slightly more new to each other.

dating is great if you aren't socially or emotionally inept lmao

One relationship that isn't all that great doesn't negate the entire notion of having a significant other.

Get a gf that is a better fit for you.

>don't bother it's not worth it
>nothing is
>might as well kill yourself

>She shot him down, pretty much saying there was a point when she likes him like that but now he was more like a brother to her.
sounds more like he just fucked up and lost his chance after they already were friends. isn't that exactly the opposite of what all those "friendzoned" guys claim ?

Tell us about the downsides.
I agree. If I could afford to live by my swlf I’d be single.

You sound like one of those “my clock is ticking!” Bitches.

Apparently from what she told me, he had asked before but she told him no. That she just wanted them to be friends. This being before I had even met her. His second attempt was just because I guess?

>It takes years to get a girlfriend
What. It takes like a few dates dude

This is sweet. I hope my bf feels the same way
