>I want to kill myself and I think jumping from a building is the most surefire method
> Death would be near-instantaneous but what would that split second of impact feel like if you do a straight drop to the pavement?
What would it feel like to jump from a building?
>asking living people what dying feels like
Do you think it would hurt a lot?
It would hurt the people who's neck you'd break.
I’d make sure the coast was clear.
Death is not guaranteed. There have been reports of people surviving from jumping off of skyscrapers. There is a chance you'll end up surviving but with a damaged spine. There is no worse hell than being a suicidal quadriplegic.
Suicidal people are selfish. Not only will you hurt your family/friends, but you'll also scar innocent people forever with the memory of you splattering on the ground
Literally 100% of people who survive jump-suicides say that the moment they jumped the first thing that went through there head was "oh no this was a terrible mistake."
>hurt a lot
Have you ever stubbed a wounded toe? Everyone's clobbered their toe once or twice per week, but when you injure a toe and THEN stub it you get this two-fisted experience; like the regular stubbing pain is there, but the first .75sec are just flashing, blinding white pain because you just smacked a wound real hard. It dies down a bit after that but the initial experience is brief, but fucking sucks.
That's the closest I can think of honestly. I saw a rekt webm and this dude's head just turned into a fine mist. Honestly, I think it's the only way to go if there is such a thing truly.
Hey how about suffer the consequences of dealing with your misery instead? You might actually find meaning in life.
>Neighbours son killed himself
>Left a giant ass letter about how he's sorry for being a burden on his parents, doesn't want to trouble or hurt them anymore, this is for the best, blah blah blah
>Takes father's gun
>Blows his head off in the middle of living room
>All furniture destroyed
>Walls ruined
>$15,000 to renovate entire room
>Parents can't even look at house let alone live in it
>Can't sell the house because no one wants a death house
People who commit suicide are basically as bad as terrorists.
Isn’t it selfish to guilt someone into living against their will?
If it was really about wanting to die you would go quietly and with dignity. You would walk into a blizzard with no coat, sink yourself into a lake, cut your wrists in a forest and let the birds and flies take you.
Instead you put on a giant public display, endanger others or their property, leaving pointless drawling notes. It's not about dying with these people. It's about one last Hail Mary cry for attention.
All I can say to this is aim with your head, then it might go Quickly. It'd be more considerate of you to do it in a secluded place though, maybe go hiking somewhere and jump off a cliff.
I'm not trying to guilt you into living against your will, you can and will do what you want, I'm just saying it's selfish because it is.
Freezing or drowning are horrible ways to go. Jumping from a great height is almost instantaneous. High-rise buildings are just easier and more accessible in urban areas than mountains anc cliffs. It’s all a matter of utility.
Why does it matter, you'll be ded.
How inconsiderate.
Like he couldn't even be fucked to go outside or in the barhtub.
I always thought this would be the best way to do it. If it was a secluded enough area it might be years before anyone found you, and you would have plausible deniability because it could be passed off as an accident.
The other option would be the classic get drunk in a public park and strip down in subzero weather, but there's always the possibility the cops might find you too soon.
NICE DUBS
I don't really care whether or not people choose to live or not, but I hate it when people inconvenience others in their suicide methods.
If you're gonna kys, at least take the precautions to make it seem like an accident. Don't do dumb shit like hop in front of a train, or blow chunks of your bodyparts in a room. Go say you went on a roadtrip or whatever.
There are stories of people who fell from significant height and lived, so idk about how surefire this method is. You could try to land head-first so the impact knocks you out, in that case there shouldn't be any pain.
>you'll also scar innocent people forever with the memory of you splattering on the ground
What if the only witnesses happen to be people who frequent liveleak and deathaddict? They would probably enjoy the view.
>People who commit suicide are basically as bad as terrorists.
This is why we need euthanasia programs, so suicidal people could end it peacefully and without ruining lives of others (and possibly even donate their organs).
Yea whatever. Their lifes suck so much that they want to die. They don't owe the world shit. Why should they care if they die in a considerate way or not? They won't be around to see the consequences. I say kill yourself the way you want to.
Though I have to say, if I had the energy to plan some elaborate spectacular suicide, I would also have the energy to get my shit together, which I would prefer.
Still, people who preach about the "right way of suicide" are ridiculous. The world has fucked them over royally. They don't owe you shit.
