Met this girl in high school, I was never super attracted to her (wanted her friend who wasn't interested) but she expressed her feelings for me and I said I felt the same way figuring we could just be FWB for a while. 4 years later we're still together, we share similar interests (vidya/reading/memes/travelling), she's a pretty smart, funny girl and has filled out nicely physically. But she has pretty bad anxiety, low self-confidence, she was having suicidal thoughts often before we met, has no loved ones. I don't like not knowing if I could leave her without her falling apart.
Recently, a girl I work with has shown interest in me. She's not too bright and likes rap. But she has a prettier face and is really extroverted and confident which I find really attractive.
I browse Jow Forums often and realize many people here would be happy with ANY girlfriend and I feel like i'm being an ungrateful cunt, and that if I leave her I would regret it horribly.
But despite that, new girl has made me realize if I had the option right in front of me I would cheat on/leave her. Am I a piece of garbage Jow Forums? I never got the chance to fuck around in college, what if this girl is the only one I ever bang? Pic related.

I'm a girl who has been in this situation and my ex told me all this stuff. At first I was really fucking hurt and pissed off, but now I'm really grateful and hes with that new girl as a gf and I'm no longer tied to a piece of shit. For all you know this new girl could be an ideal mate. But honestly, tell your gf. It's the first step and you can both figure out what you want, and you won't feel guilty for hiding/sneaking. For all you know, if she loves/cares about you enough she'll be cool and let you cheat and still stay with you.

I'll give you some unpopular advice, but it worked for me:
I was in the same situation and the best thing I did was to cheat.
It gave me perspective, reinforced that I was with the right girl and I am no longer plagued with doubts like yours. Just make sure you plan ahead and don't get caught by anyone. Protect your girl from diseases and heartbreak. Be discreet, be safe and use a condom.
Cheating gave me the confirmation that I was with the right girl. I think it will also show if you are not ready to settle with her.
