It's laughable that liberal and socialist are regarded as being interchangeable in the US, even though they are polar opposites (liberalism is about maximising personal freedom, socialism is about centralising power in the government). Bolsonaro's political party uses the word "liberal." In Australia, "liberal" refers to the political right, not the left.
