My cat was owned by a roastie who committed suicide. Was at a job site and he came up to me meowing in the most pitiful way. So I scooped him up and took him home. I know several families that have these ugly, stupid little fucking white retards, or mutts that look like them, and every single one has a multitude of terrible ailments they have to pay hundreds, and sometimes thousands of dollars for their treatment

There is something very respectable about cats, which is why I think cat worship was so prevalent among some ancient societies. Cats are just plain weird. They don't conform to human expectations or understanding, they do things on their own terms, they do whatever they want when they want to and people have some strange love for that.
I think dogs and cats are both good for different reasons. Dogs are strong and powerful enough to defend you from harm, and gentle and loving enough to lead the blind. Dogs really are best friends. Cats, on the other hand, have something more mysterious about them, something alluring which causes people to love them just the same.
Anyone who uses the word "furbaby" or buys a small dog that can't do anything is worthless though.
