The Federal Government should be there for collective defense of the states, to negotiate nationwide trade deals with other countries and that's about it. Everything else from research to space exploration to education should be private sector. America used to be #1 in Education for decades and centuries before the Department of Education. America had the highest literacy rates in the world until we imported all these stupid monkeys. Ending welfare would end their incentive to be here.
