At least half of the public comments were in support of the homeless man.

Never happened. At my school we spent frankly to much time on American history which is feel isn’t relevant. Interestingly, when I visited a small part of the British Museum around 2005, I saw a piece about how they weren't so bad compared with how most humans were treating each other at the time, so it was a far cry from the cucked white guilt that's so common here indeed.
