"Speed running" is a colossal waste of time. In the past, people played video games and the production companies and the media spoke about moderation. Now it is becoming publicly acceptable to allow men to spend an unlimited amount of time engaged in REPLAYING indefinitely often old CHILDREN'S video games. Is it uglier to rob a growing teenager's life stuck indoors replaying the same game, or a fully-grown 35yo adult with three kids and a house? Any way you cut it, it is a culture that enables the habit of putting aside activities that men should engage with, responsibilities they might have, in favour of the most unproductive hobby that eats up hours and months of time like it were nothing.
Not to mention the fact that it's a petri dish for the normalization of social justice warriors and allowing males to publicly embarrass themselves and permanently scar themselves with the trans acceptance movement.
