Fall in love.

i am a permavirgin and my only redemption is lifting which i also abandoned becase of rust : (

Get rid of your computer.

drugs and alcohol

Play real life games like MtG or Pokemon cards or Yu Gi Oh if kids are still into that, tabletop RPGs, chess, etc.

That doesn't mean that you can't. Go outside, meet people. Everyone can fall in love.

You don't, eventually you get bored, keep playing until it feils like a pointless burden, start to feel empty inside, and then eater keep playing because you realised that you have nothing else of interest in your life or find another waist of time to spend your time on.

too spergy ; (((
no
how ? just destroy it ?

Sell it. Use the money for something useful.

Sell all video game items.
Find another hobby/interest to fill the void.

Make your life more fulfilling.
Pick up constructive hobbies like painting or cooking.
Something where you can see the actual results of your efforts

I stopped playing video games when I got into skating so maybe try that if it interest you

are you playing games all day because of a addiction or do you play games all day because you have nothing else to do? though i was addicted to them a few years ago. but i realized that i played game all day cause i had nothing else to do. i still play games but not nearly as much as i used to.

i wake up , wanting to do productive stuff , like practicing art or exercising . then i boot up my pc and play rust for 2 h , but those 2 quickly become 3 and so on . i think deleting my steam account is my best bet ,ontop of leaving for a month ( i got a summer job for that ammount of time )

Play nothing but shitty games

Replace the addiction with something else. Get into lifting, stock trading, literally any other fuckin hobby. Order a lock picking kit off aliexpress and learn how to use it. Just fuckin do something. I've been addicted to benzos, quiting sucks but replace it with something productive and it'll suck less.

Extreme answers are rarely the solution. There is a reason people don’t quit cold turkey. You end up setting unrealistic expectations, failing or giving yourself anxiety before you’ce started. And then failing. The most reliable way to stop addictions (in general) is to ween back and begin a reliable schedule. Try to, at least, have maybe even a day where you don’t play Vidya.

You say you’d like to exercise more. Why not make the weekend, or at least saturday, to be a day you go to one of the national parks near you?

This.
Since I got a girlfriend, games are so much less appealing. I still play every now and then, but I've slowed way down

i have a set routine already and it sees me working out 4 times a week which i used to fo before rust i think extreme things may work for me here

Okay. If you used to do it, just ween yourself back to doing it.

If you think only extreme things will work (which may well be the case) get the fuck off of your computer, right now. Sell it and move on. Get some shitty fucking $80 laptop if you have to.
