Sometimes we are the producer, Sometimes we are the consumer. Some are called to being caretakers, whether through choice or circumstance.
But if consumption occurs faster than production, resources will be in shorter supply. Surplus will become scarcity. Items like medicine, water, and food are now accessible to us in large supplies. They are generally affordable. We have a high life expectancy.
Most of us live in comfort with couches, televisions, and transportation. We go to school. Find work. Even the poorest of us enjoy certain luxuries like booze, fatty foods, and cigarettes. While people in other countries kill each other for rice and spoiled meat, we throw out many tons of uneaten rice and fresh meat at Chinese Buffets daily.
There is nobility in production. Producers have given you this life. They have given you these luxuries.
Now that your gut is satisfied with the products created by their minds and labor you turn on them and act if they are morally beneath you. Beneath you for being compensated for the products and services you purchased from them.
You complain about them from your $800 phones or your $500 tablet. You complain about them in your cars, and in your schools made from bricks and wood with cafeterias and mattresses. All things these people made, that you are benefitting from.
You are a child, a selfish, spoiled child. You need to either lead, follow, or get out of the way. And honestly I'd prefer if you got out of the way, because I am still hurt from all the mean things you said about me.
