Should I save my money in 2019 and wait for the stock market to drop to buy ETFs, or should I keep buying ETFs monthly in 2019? I have about $5,000 now.

Personally I would take about $1k and buy silver bullion right now. Then I would take $500 and buy one of the 5 most popular cryptos just in case they spike from people seeking a safe haven while the Dow is crashing.

I'd continue saving until the Dow bottoms out and then invest the remaining $3500+ into ETFs.

Just be wise and cautious. The only certainty is uncertainty.
