Where is the right to bear arms anywhere in the constitution? It’s in the bill of rights- a list of amendments, corrections to the original document. The point being that our forefathers knew that the constitution wasn’t perfect and would need to be corrected to adjust to the challenges of future times. They knew in order for it to endure, America’s needs of the past may change and the laws should be able to be changed with the concerns of the times. Questioning the second amendment is by definition the most quinessentially American thing you can do
