I personally think you should stay away. A 16 year old is still in high school (probably won't even have a job) while a 22 year old would most likely be graduating college or on the path of their ideal career. It's just two drastically points in life.

I say go for it. I'm 27 now and would go a 16yo in a heartbeat (16 is AoC in my country).

When I was 16 I was always told how mature I was and I was always hanging out with older people mostly due to the fact I was always with my older siblings anyway I had older men hit on me all the time and say that my age didn't matter because I was so "mature" for my age. Looking back it's so not okay. It's gross as fuck. I was a kid. I didn't know shit about the real world and how it works no matter how "mature" I was. She's a kid. Find someone your own age.

16 year olds aren't exactly full fledged mature adults but they're not helpless little kids, anyone who tells you otherwise is doing so based on a personal bias they hold (feeling taken advantage of as a teen, having a young person they feel protective over, or just seeing this idea hammered in society). The only defining difference between a teenager and an adult mentally is impulsivity, and most often naivety/inexperience.

1. Girls almost always prefer older guys

2. If she's 16 and looking for guys in their 20s, then she's not a delicate virgin flower

3. She's probably actually looking just to fuck and you shouldn't exactly get your hopes up for a long-lasting romantic commited relationships

I had a similar event in my life (I was the 16yo girl) and it wasn't all that bad. He was 22 too and a nice fellow.

No, just that 27 year olds (and older people, especially once you're 30+) shouldn't fuck 16 year olds even if it is legal because of the implications it carries. There might be some one in a million exception to this, but most people that age are not capable of a reciprocal healthy romantic relationship that contains sex with someone who's that much older than them because of their maturity level and their stages of life being so different.
