NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is approaching the meteor named Ultima Thule.
1) Ultima = "Last" in Spanish/Portuguese.
2) Thule = The alleged ancient land.
So why is Ultima Thule named that way?

Space isn't real. Earth is flat. OP is a faggot and NASA is full of pedophiles.
i hope you paid your loicence to post bbc links.
quater mile per pixel, no stars
nasa, never a straight answer
inb4 some fag tells me how cameras work in space like they work at mission control.
>why is Ultima Thule named that way?
Because its the farthest point and a traditional name of distant places beyond the known world
Ultima is latin, not just Spanish Portuguese. Other languages use variations of it, and in Romanian they use Ultima as well.
The name is just a cool sounding way of saying something along the lines of "last frontier" to signify that they are delving into the early formations of celestial bodies.
also this
I claim ultima.
Everyone knows Thule is the cool one
You know how these people are, don't you?
Nothing is "by chance".
It's not by chance. Ultima Thule is the farthest object ever explored. So it's given the name that was used on maps to signify that.
Just like how your post is not by chance and adhering to a pattern of the current culture here. And now if we transpose this understanding of humans onto these scientists, we can contextualize their pattern adherence to scientific nomenclature standards and precedences as described by this poster:
Who these people? Its a temporary name by a team of NASA engineers whos career you can track to their studenthood, not some secret organisation. Final name will be approved by IAU, but it will take it a lot of time. You can join IAU yourself if you have some astronomy background education.
Pretty sure the closest approach was a few days ago now.
It was, but the bandwidth is minuscule so it'll take some time for all the data to be sent
Ah, fair enough.
Thule society logo depicts the land of the gods.
>His country didn't land on the moon
Based and redpilled. Fpbp.
Also keep in mind older maps depicted this same concept at the north pole. The four islands is the swastika and the sword of the thule symbol is the world mountain.
Draw the rotation 4 times instead of three.
Yes, this is why the symbol is drawn differently, but the knowledge is the same.
Is this some kind of "Nazis are actually aliens" thing?
Tri/tetraskellions are common in cultures all over the world because of things like that. It's just a rotation of a line
It has a swastika on it.
Thule is Gnosticism - it sucks and their initiates are evil nazis.
Space is a hoax. The moon is flat. #FlatMoon
The symbol for sure indicates motion. I.e... The wheel in the sky. This "mission" imo... is a veiled reference to the coming change of the age. Nasa loves their occult symbology.
Like Christianity doesn't have the same exact symbology? newfag read a book
looks like a p nut
Already 6h just for signal to travel.
