Do girls care if you have nerdy/weird hobbies?

I used to be a fat guy and lost the weight and got Jow Forums been going on dates and such but was wondering whether girls care about your hobbies?

I have the usual "chad" hobbies of rugby, cycling, rowing and the gym but I also have some weird hobbies or rather less than conventional ones

>Reading
At the moment I read A LOT, all of it is non-fiction and I make notes on all the books I read as I like keeping the knowledge in my own format

>Modelling
Pic related rather than figurines. I love listening to music, spacing out and building model ships. I've got about 12 of them displayed around my flat on different stands. I also have a mini crafting station in my man cave

>Stamp/coin collecting
Used to do it as a kid and still do it. I don't spend a lot of money on it but there have been times when I'm out with friends and found a rare £2 or 50p coin and got a bit excited.

>Music composition
Classical only, don't bother with anything else. I play the piano and violin and I usually record what I play or use different programmes to compose (or try to) my own music for fun.

Would you care about any of these or find them to be a deal-breaker? They don't consume my life but I'm passionate about them

they only care if they cant ruin it. most of your non-chad hobbies are pretty solitary activities which she cannot ruin other than stealing your time, so she will claim that youre paying too much attention to your "stupid hobbies" and not on her, which will eventually become her justification for cheating.
they might net you a girl for their quirkiness, but youll lose said girl over them too.

damn

Who hurt you?

Sounds fine

you just hurt my feelings, friend.

chicks dig nerds. They are usually fairly intelligent.

It's just, chicks dig nerds if that is their hobby, not their personality/main interest. It's fine to like anime, play video games, build historic model kits or be really (weirdly, possibly sexually. Mostly sexually) into jets. Just don't let that be who ALL you are.

Also referring to baseball, football, basketball, ect as "the sports ball" is a huge fucking turn off. The rules aren't that fucking complicated you fucking retards.

No.
I build model rockets and airplanes and when I tell girls this all they do is laugh and say "do you have any 'real' hobbies? XDDDD"

Some girls only seek men who got hobbies, so you should be good in their eyes.

Women don't respect any hobby that isn't social by nature.
Just look at the classic case of weightlifting.
Really goes to show how shallow they all are.

Of course they do. One of my best friends ended up marrying her husband because of his nerdy hobbies

>because of
*in spite of

Some girls do care and think it's weird and gay.

Some girls do care and actually love that you're into that because they're into it as well.

Some girls don't care either way.

"girls" are not one singular group with one interest.

I don't know of a lot of girls who are into plastic models or collecting stamps/coins but there's billions of girls who like to read, and also loads of them in the world of classical music.

shut up incel nerd

t. has never met any women

Um, no. She thinks that nerdy shit is hot. I know it's hard to believe, user, but it happened. She told me all about it.

I've been with loads of girls, nerdy and otherwise. Stop being so bitter.

grew up in a little town south of the Kentucky border... things were simple. You tended the farm, raised the herd... and if anyone gave you shit? Son, you beat the fucker down. You were a man. And under that hot alabama sun you learned the values of christ, america, and manhood- the missisipi trio as my pop called it... may god bless his soul...
And a man like me? Well when we weren’t out hunting or at the bar? We watched sport. None of that pussy european shit- real sport, arizona sport. I’d get back home... hang up my duster, cold beer, my girl cooking some fineeee BBQ... and id watch muscular, toned black men. Sometimes they’d collide into each other, sometimes bounce a ball... but they were always fine specimens. I’d watch those darkies sweat and toil for hours... and I’ll admit my loins stirred more than once... called it the texas rise, heh... and when I watched those guys play, my mind... wandered. I imagined them taking my girl... like animals- hoo boy did that get me goin! I remember, in the 12th ad break of the NFL playoffs powered by mcdonalds I’m loving it, right after the arbys presents: the danger kick! I noticed my missus watching those stallions on screen... stroking that pussy of hers. And I tell you what... without a word I drove her down the city, philidelphia- my home- and she made love to every nigger in sight. I milked my johnson more than ever that night. So when you pussy europeans talk about sport... remember what REAL men play.

Having weird hobbies is only weird if you are weird. Weird hobbies just tend to be the icing on the weird cake. There's nothing alarming about a normal, well-adjusted, mature adult with uncommon hobbies.

In my experience i think nerdy/weird hobbies are pretty cool. My boyfriend and I (he's 28, i'm 20) don't have a lot of common hobbies but he shows me what he likes and I show him what i like and it's pretty cool. He loves playing yu gi oh and since his friends can't play with him because they're out of town, I told him to teach me how to play so I can play with him. Sometimes i don't understand how some decks work but it's really interesting and i'm glad to see how happy he is.

Thats so rude. I build ww2 model tanks and planes.. its fucking fun.
hello, am female.

>the exception that proves the rule

That's because you're not hot

I always been told and is my experience that girls dig men that are passionate about something, even nerdy stuff.

My husband is pretty nerdy but super hot, his nerdy passions are actually quite endearing to me. So I would say it's a good thing to have some nerdy hobbies. If a girl isn't into them or for some odd reason doesn't want you doing them she's probably not the one for you.

>f a girl isn't into them or for some odd reason doesn't want you doing them she's probably not the one for you.
That's a funny way of saying there's no girls for you. Women don't care about this shit at all and they only pretend to when the guy is attractive.

Bizmarck?

On my third date with my current girlfriend, she really wanted to do something i'd enjoy. And I said I wanted to go to a vr arcade because I've never used vr but always wanted to try. I went and geeked out while playing superhot and she thought it was the cutest thing. Don't be ashamed of your hobbies.

That's cute af

Lol
