Do you guys feel height plays a significant factor on attracting women?
standing at 5 ft 8, I'd say i'm a fairly good looking guy and moderately muscular.
However I feel like many women nowadays will pick an average but tall looking guy over a good looking average or slightly under average height guy, because social norms and the media are drilling into women that any guy under 6 ft is short.
I literally several times have been refereed to by women as short, I even had one girl in a nightclub go to me I find you really attractive but you're just a bit to short for me, it was the most backhanded compliment I've ever received.
Sure, there are thots who care about hight. But ehy the hell would you care about what thots think about you? A woman with decency will not only be interested in your hight. If you have other things going for dou then it will be no issue to find a good girl.

No they don't. Unless you're talking about tinder thots that's a wrong assumption. Women don't pick. Women get asked out and say yes or no to that specific guy they have in front of them. And if you're charming, well-groomed, have a smooth game, etc. a lot of them won't say no wether you are 5'6 or 6'5. Some do care about the height factor but in general it's more of a " I want to be able to wear heels next to him " issue so relative to the girls height.

im 5 ft 8 and have never had any trouble. if anything its something else you lack, not your height. yes height is attractive but girls wont reject you unless youre very short. its like idealism girls wanting a tall guy is like guys wanting to fuck porn stars but in reality they will go for lower especially if they dont consider themselves a 9/10. aslong as the girl is not taller then personality shines out more.

Went out on a date or two, a bunch. Most were around my height (5'7-5'9"). A couple were noticeably taller. One was around 5'11, two were 6'2". Dated long term, two. One was an inch shorter than me, the other is my current boyfriend who is 6'2".
I also want to add - I never rejected a guy because he was shorter than me. I don't get asked out by short guys a lot.

no I'm OP, I think I'm just in denial because of that time I got rejected by a girl for being to short in a nightclub and a few girls have called me short. However, looking back on it I don't a nightclub is the best place to find a girlfriend.

Probably some majority of girls like it a guy who is a bit taller then them.
Likewise, a majority of guys like it when a girl has large, voluptuous breasts and a small frame and/or most guys like it when a girl has shapely legs and a round, shapely ass.
Also, narrower waist and wider hips, yadda yadda.
Now think back on yourself - would you seriously REFUSE to date a girl that was lacking one of those physical attributes? Probably not, right? Well, it's the same with girls. Yeah there's girls who put a premium on height - but why worry about them? There are a ton of others who don't. Even then, most girls only care that the guy is a bit taller than themselves, at least enough so that they can wear 2-4" heels and not feel like a giantess in comparison. OK, so you're 5'6, 5'7? Guess what, nice men's shoes add at least an inch and there are plenty of girls are 5'4 and under.
So yeah, if you're 5'8 and exclusively interested in statuesque 6 foot tall models then maybe you're going to have a hard time - but that sounds pretty outlandish to me.
As far as anecdotal evidence goes, a lot of my friends are well under 6 feet tall. Many of them have cute girlfriends/fiancees/wives with nice figures. My best friend (same height as me, 5'9) just got married to a girl who's basically the same height (MAYBE an inch shorter) - they both work out and she has a hell of a tight little body.
If you live in an area where literally EVERYONE is 6'3 and you're the only guy that's 5'7, then maybe consider moving somewhere else where there's a greater diversity in height.
