Okay so I have an issue and I'm unsure what to do here.
I took a 2 day trip to travel on my motorcycle. When returning home, some asshole kept tailgateing me at 50mph. (the speed limit) so to give him room i sped up to 55mph, just to haveh im speed up and tailgate me again. (Guy was like a foot or so away from my back tire)
Finally, I see him turn on his blinker and slow down, as if ihes gonna turn on the next road. Glad hes turning, i decide to speed up a little to enjoy my ride on a long road, just to find out hes trying to pass me and hit me off the road. I went faster then i noticed this, as i didnt want to get knocked off the road by the tial end of his car.
For the next 15 mins the guy keeps speeding up to my tire. We finally hit some traffic (dead still), and I get off my bike to talk to him and ask him to stop tailgating me.
Woman and guy in car, guy is the driver. They both looked all the way to the right to not make eye contact until i knocked. Guy flips out saying hes trying to pass and i told him i thought he was turning but he shouldn't be tailgating me. I made my point and walk off....when i turned my back the guy yells fuck you....
i thought it was cute, so i taunted him as he was acting like a pussy. Now I come to my problem...
I was wearing a gopro and it was on during this encounter....
I plan to upload it online, should i blur his face or not? (note: i do plan to blur the woman's face as she was not driving and didnt say anything)
No difference really, but I rather if you left it unblur. Much more fun for the internet detective.

Well thats the thing user, I am okay with letting asshoels be exposed for being assholes....but the woman in the car didnt do this and didnt say anything. If she did I would have included her as well.
I just am unsure what to do about the guy who did all this shit. I mean asshole behavior should be ex[posed but we all have bad days....maybe hes a great guy and just was pissed off...the world may never know....Im just a little conflicted.

I ride a cruiser, I dont speed around roads I dont know. Also I gave him more room by speeding up to 55mph....over the limit, he didnt even stay at 50, he just sped up.
Why should i pull over just because a retard doesnt know how to drive the speed limit? Honest question here. ^
I swear to God if this happened on some backroads OP, maybe he had somewhere to be? Why do you care how fast he goes? Let him pass and get a ticket. I can't fucking stand you dork vigilantes

It was a main road in the middle of nowhere really.
Honestly I couldnt give a rat's ass how fast he was speeding, but when hes tailgating on my back tire, i cant stop or he hits and mabye kills me. I dont like being forced to speed or get hit. My main problem was him being a foot and a half away from my tire, not his speed.

We all had somewhere to be user, I had to get home to cook dinner for my daughter and wife. This is not an excuse to almost kill someone...is it? (honest question here) If he hit me theres a good chance i would have been dead. I see no excuse for that behavior.

Thats the thing, when he slowed down to put on his left blinker, there was a road ahead. I didnt know he wanted to pass.
As for pulling to the right, there was no side of the road. It was a thin small main road in the middle of nowhere, and the side was about a hand's drop into a grassy ditch.
Heck i would have gladly let him pass if he didnt tailgate me for 15 more mins.
I looked back and made hand movements trying to see if he just would back off or pass after he did, and he didnt reply in anyway I saw besides driving at me faster.
When traffic was at a stand still, i didnt curse or even insult him. I just asked him to stop, and even told him i didnt know he was trying to pass at first. I dont play stupid games, it was a misunderstanding but i found his actions not reasonable as he put our lives in danger/

I cant say with certainty she was the problem. She didnt speak a word when i confronted him, and she wasnt driving. I would feel bad if i put her on blast for the actions of her man. If she was in all this, i felt she would have told me off or something, but she didnt.
OP you know what he wanted from the very begining and you know he was going to go faster than you. Come on, get your shit together. Everyone, including you likes to have fun driving fast (until someone refuses to let you pass)
Actually no. The only time I ever break the speed limit is when I'm on a empty highway at night with no other cars around.
I like going fast but speed limits for certain road's turns and roads are there for a reason, and i rather not kill anyone or myself due to that. I ride a cruiser, to enjoy my ride but i dont go under the speed limit. I stick to it. I dont try to pass people on the main roads, it just isnt worth the risk. The highway is a differnt story as it has more than 1 lane. In areas where i try to pass and always get blocked by a car, I normally pull to the side (higghways have sides around here), and let them drive on before rejoining traffic. Main roads without a wide i dont have that luxury. Besides, sometimes I rather a bad driver be behind me, so they dont break check after 10 seconds. But in this moment i had no clue what he wanted.
At first i thought he didnt know the speed limit, so i pointed at two speed signs to show him he was speeding and I was going the limit, that i wasnt the one going slow here.
I like fun as well as the next guy, but unless its on a empty parking lot, a track or an empty highway. I dont play this speed game.
There is no way you were driving for 50 mph for 15 minutes and there was not any point one spot where you could have pulled over. Fuck off.

All the side roads where on the left, in the usa we drive on the right. I couldnt pull over. To the right of me where many many fields and corn....with a small drop to collect rain water from the road.
The only way I could have pulled over if I was traveling southbound and not north. As then all the roads on the left would have been on my right, but this was not the case.
I am not kidding here, I am seriously unsure how to react to this. I rode for 8 hours that day, so I was bear the end of my resources, and at the time this happened I was 5 hours in my 8 hour ride.

It was a long thin main road, that kept going up and down hills. I could see about 10 feet in front of me before the next hill blocked my view, and cars came over it in the other direction. I did not feel safe to drive in the wrong lane when I am not passing. If thats what you are implying I should have done. I never once was told to pull over on the left, it just seems stupid if hes passing. I mean he only attempted to pass once, and he slowd down to do it so i thought he was turning. The rest of the way he was just on my tire for the rest of the ride until we hit stand still traffic.
When I approached the car he was looking away, so maybe he knew he did something wrong, or maybe he was scared....i dont know. All I do know is he waited til i turned my back to get on my bike to yell fuck you. Followed by some other insults I didnt fully hear.
Anyway this leads me back to my question. Should i blur his face or not? I feel he was in the wrong here, I am just wondering if i should give him the kindness of bluring his face or showing everyone how unsafe a driver he is?
