Ya see, modern gender theory has determined that "gender" really has nothing to do with biological sex. Biological sex (which also varies widely from male to intersex to asex to female) is determined 9 months before you're even born, so frankly, it doesn't matter. Gender, on the other hand, is a core part of your identity as an individual, so it can really be whatever you want it to be.
So the next time your cis-heteronormative Uncle tells you to stop raising your child as a xæ, tell him politely to check his own privilege.
