I don't like gays and I don't like pedophiles, but given what is known about Kevin Spacey it seems he went after teenage boys which is part of gay culture as well as something known as pedastry (I think) not exactly pedophilia as they're supposed to be past puberty.

As for the hand washing, I am sure there is some symbolism we won't understand. Like maybe elites are really big on hand-washing before any kind of ceremony, like how Muslims wash themselves (ceremoniously) before doing the suicide bombing. or at least I saw that in the hollywood movies.

Washing of hands is a common artistic symbol of declaring oneself innocent of their crimes. It's a direct call back to Pontius Pilate washing his hands after the people told him to kill Christ. White tulips are a common symbol of forgiveness as well.
