Its probably going to be someone closely related to the person who is the handler, the more organic the relationship is the better I would assume. It's subtle stuff, psychological punishment and reqard stuff. Might be rewarded by handler for doing something you know is wrong, like burning something down, or maybe you are rewarded for learning thought processes like self defense to put it mild. I later learned in life I was being doped as a child, when I learned more about poisons and analgesics. It's so subtle I am convinced the handlers don't even realize. Of course there is the detachment that is made to appear to be useful in dealing with the psychological damage, but I quickly learned that is not the way to be real in life.
