Convince me that capitalism isn't a pyramid scheme.
ITS A SCAM
it is a pyramid scheme. Like all hierarchic systems. But the fiat pyramid scheme is extremely well set up to benefit only the super elites at the top. You can't really escape the pyramid in any hiraarchy or system. it will always end up a pyramid. but you can choose a much fairer pyramid system, like cryptos.
Capitalism isn't real. It's a mirage created by Marx to make communism look good. He lumped every negative part of every economic system beyond hunting and gathering into one bogeyman and called it capitalism.
>But the fiat pyramid scheme is extremely well set up to benefit only the super elites at the top.
How the hell were they able to mastermind this? Seems to me that this was all well planned out well before even our grandfathers were ever born meaning we had no chance even well before we were born.
even if it is, its still better than any degree of socialism
Capitalism more like Cr*pitalism haha. I wish I had something better to do on Friday night
FPBP
Humans are hierarchical, even the most good intention equality-orientated ideologies always end up with a powerful, wealthy elite.
Capitalism has its faults, but looking at history, it has produced less misery and improved the human condition more than other systems.
inb4 some totalitarian ideology or oppressive regime was "capitalism"
wow, FPBP, on Jow Forums of all places. Was not expecting that
Capitalism has people succeed by making things that other people want
Communists and fascists succeed by killing people they don't like.
This, I'd take working my ass off but ultimately having it mean something in some way than starve under communism
Good point, and to elaborate on that:
Communists and fascists never really "succeeded". If you look at totalitarian governments of the 20th century they all got themselves into wars and lost, fizzled out and got replaced by democracies or became more capitalist, watering down their original ideologies.
Except North Korea, they're still going, in poverty and starvation. I forgot about them.
Protocols of Zion lays it all out, and that was supposed to be the minutes of a gathering in the 1890s. My great grandma was born in 1899.
I'm still convinced that the only reason NK even bothered to consider peace with the rest of the world was that they realized they were collapsing, especially with failed weapons tests that ended up fucking their land.
Capitalism itself is a zero sum game
Nepotism, probably going back to the very beginning of civilisation. The people on top usually want to stay on top and promote their own.
Socialism is a pyramid scheme to, now what?
>Jeff Bezos creates company, starts by selling books out of his garage, he's raised by a single Mom, puts out a service people use and allows hundreds of thousands if not millions of people to have jobs that wouldn't otherwise exist
>People like it, it becomes popular
>Goes public, groups like Pensions, banks, private citizens, all want a piece of Amazon, there's a limited supply of stocks so they drive up the price and let all kinds of people get a little piece of something they consider to have a big future.
>Since Bezos owned the company he created, his shares are valuable and he is the richest man on Earth
The previous richest man, Bill Gates, only reached that point by making billions more in value. Through standardizing operating systems globally, he allowed Japanese developers to sell software to Americans, for Germans to collaborate with Italy and South Korea, and this standardization allowed many businesses to become more productive, and survive where they otherwise would have died.

I owe ya a beer
Henry Ford was an avid promoter of the protocols also. The Jews will, eventually lose!
>Convince me that capitalism isn't a pyramid scheme.
You guys are just doing it wrong desu
What user pointed out here is only partially true, and he's almost on the point. Capitalism isn't really a political theory at all, as the two political positions posed have been Democracy and Communism. Systems like capatilism, monarchy, aristocracy, are not political theories but simply the natural mode of human society. Capitalism is simply the natural mode of economy, aristocracy and monarchy the natural mode of governance. But alas, not all that which is natural is good. After all, cancer is a very natural thing as is syphylis. Capitalism needs some degree of control, as for governemnt there are elments of monarchy that are good and there are elements that are bad. The third position, Fascism, is that which truly builds a tenable functioning society.
To call capitalsim a pyramid scheeme however is sheer folly. Capitalsim is a the natural method of human societies for distributing goods. Capitalism is simply free exchange and the accumulation of money. It is neither good or bad, it is a force of nature.
Very interesting, but how did you arrive at the "Fascism, is that which truly builds a tenable functioning society.".
If we look at the 20th century, what is usually defined as "fascism" failed at building stable societies. Or is your definition of fascism different? Salazar Portugal and Franco Spain survived the longest and only lasted about 40 years.
