I have a suspicion in the back of my mind that my sister's leftish tendencies are catalyzed by this therapist, and cutting is turned into sort of a valid form of therapy because modern leftists are all about deconstruction of any conceptions of absolute truth, and to them cutting might seem like something to be treated more casually(?). Or at least, something to be treated with too much delicacy and not looked down on hard enough. I don't know. Mostly I don't know why she actually started doing it and it's been a massive thorn in my side. Not just her cutting but her behavior in general; over the past 5 years or so she got her hair cut short, doesn't shave her legs, wears my old clothes, etc. She's also homosexual, seemingly out of nowhere. It especially bothers me that maybe I was a bad model or something; I'm a weird nerd too and I was always a weird nerd and I'm 21 right now and still a khv.
my dad is concerned about this too, he thinks she "went gay because what, she hates men? is that somehow my fault? why does she hate me?" He's kind of a fucking idiot though because ostensibly he also has leftish tendencies but his thoughts about this obviously betrayed that he's quite apolitical and not the progressive minded person he sometimes pretends to be. My dad also has told me a few times that in the height of an argument, my mom told him that she was going to keep my sister in therapy until she "admits" he moslested her. You've got to understand we grew up upper middle class. He had (still has) a good job and rich relatives. We're not some redneck ass family, we did everything the proper conventional way until the divorce.
