For awhile I've had random twitching problems and it seems to be moving arond my face. 2 months ago my left eye would twitch non stop. A few days after that stopped my lip started to twitch. After my lip stopped, now the inside of my ear is twitching (best way i can describe it). Any way to stop this? its annoying.

Dude go to the doctor

Its just a twitch though. Would it really take a doctor?

Don't act fucking dense, you moron. Neurological malfunctions are often the the early signs of brain issues. If it was something you could just casually google and cure, you wouldn't be here right now.

how old are you? how much time do you sleep? does this happen when you're doing something that requires a lot of focus?

26
I sleep 6-18 hours a day (I try to wake up at 6 hours but If I sleep through my alarms I wont wake up till around 16-18 hours)
It is a 24/7 thing no matter what im doing. Sometimes it acts up more when I sneeze or something like that.

I might consider it. You might be right but to me its just a twitch and I don't have insurance. I know its stupid but If its nothing it could really fuck me (less than if it is something and I don't go, i understand that).

you should really go see a doctor, especially if you had a recent head trauma or anything like that

Sounds like stress effecting the dopamine recepters in your motor neurons on your face. Commonly happens on eyes, and I know this cus I deal with it sometimes.

SSRI's/antidepressants help me, or trying to destress but I need medication for stress (personal condition means I don't healthily deal with stress like socialising etc).

So is it stress? Are you actively seeking to destress or is your health taking the back seat in hope that you pull through? Stress is a killer so if this is true that you aren't looking after yourself enough your body is telling you "fuck you" I need less stress and more rest.

It might be stress, had a rough year of school which ended 6 months ago. Would it really follow me after school ended? I found a low income/ easy job to avoid stress (im just a cashier).

Alright I'll look up how much it costs and see if I can afford it. Thanks.

this too, i went to a neurologist and did a fuckload of exams only to get the diagnosis of stress, started going out more and socializing and i'm fine now.

what happened? Yes it could follow you sometimes if something isn't dealt with it can follow you for years! I'd maybe check the eye doctor for a checkup, and maybe a doc visit.

Smoking too much weed can make me twitch too if you do that. Cashier sounds kinda stressful (was one). Exercising might be a quick way to destress if poss.

I couldn't keep up with the work so i was constantly stressed. I was a very smart person so I figured if I didn't sleep I could get more done. So I would go 1-4 days (i even went 7 days) without sleep at a time for 2 semesters in a row. I wanted to believe the sleeping 12-18 hours a day was just my body trying to catch up on sleep.

I was also homeless for half of that.

Yeah thing is this too is my experience (although doesn't mean you are the same as me so). Smart but couldn't keep up at school once the workload increased. Sure with enough time I could get it but just keeping up stretched my coping mechanism.

Do you feel hopeless or guilt yourself too much? Stress can lead to depression, sometimes depression is literally long term adaption to chronic stress.

How is your mind? Rapid thoughts at all? Maybe time to explore since you finished school into things that help stress since it will help you the rest of your life. Things like meditation, mindfulness, maybe some things you've never talked about to a therapist etc and if things get too much and your going crazy in your head maybe some antidepressants might help you get some relief.

Take each day one at a time don't think too much about the future so much. This helped me a lot when I was feeling confused and helpless regarding stress.

Hope your doin ok.

Sorry to hear man. Even if you don't believe it, in buddhism each person loves another like they would love themselves. So even if you think no one loves or cares for you, millions worldwide (if you were just in a different circumstances) love you and care for you. Since buddhism isn't mainstream here in the West (I assume your western) maybe just check out churches for some support even if you don't believe in god or anything.

That "very smart" comment was supposed to be sarcasm but thats hard to show over text. Guess i feel a bit hopeless with student debt with a cashier job. I've always had rapid thoughts. I might try meditation. How would I even get anti depression medicine with no insurance.

Also don't be I actually enjoyed being homeless, it just made being organized harder which made school a bit harder. Also I appreciate it but im pretty anti social and that would just make it worse.

Thanks for the advice too.

yeah dude but I know you are smart is all through your wording and chose not to risk validating your sarcasm incase I was wrong lol.

I honestly don't know how medication insurance works in NA I'm not from there. Maybe find an animal to take care of. That's all I got bro. Maybe even try lying about some stuff to get a job.

Im working on my anti social avoidance too. I got plans to go to soccer or sports bars even though I dont watch any of it cus thats where I went with my pap when younger. If you can look what your parents maybe there is some gold in there. Best of wishes.
